176. The DIFFERENCE Between An AMERICAN Ph.D. & Education in Pakistan
November 21, 2015

Late in the 80s, I had just returned from the prestigious King’s College London after working with Dr. Jack Botting and my external examiner Professor Dr. Sir John Vane (Nobel Laureate in Medicine, 1982) to teach Pharmacology at Karachi University on their request. I was amazed to see a colleague performing animal trials without the use of carbon dioxide in (vivo) animal studies. They had no idea as to what IRB certification stands for in research methods, nor would know protocols in research studies. Then I came across another colleague who would work on first generation antibiotics using re... (read more)

177. What should be a Future U.S. Strategy?
November 19, 2015

He was born and raised in Belgium in a Moroccan family of immigrant parents, and was in contact with Mehdi Nemmouche, a jihadist of Franco-Algerian origin, who shot and killed four people at the Jewish Museum in Brussels in May 2014. Abaaoud is also suspected of being a part in the attempted attack by Sid Ahmed Ghlam (fr) at a church in Villejuif near Paris in April 2015, as well as of organizing the thwarted Thalys train attack that occurred on 21 August 2015. THE INTRIGUING QUESTION: Though, the previous hotbed of terrorism, AfPak region has been squarely annihilated through t... (read more)

178. PC's Royal Children Don't "Feel Safe" - Mizzou Dalliance Gives Way to Dopiness
November 19, 2015

Yale and Mizzou students effectively ran off a school president and a chancellor all in the name of PC and liberal notions of a fantasy zone where students can feel “safe.” Iran is building nukes, Isis is cutting off heads, just hours ago Paris came under terrorist siege and Europe is on the verge of war all the while America’s darlings of academia, the ranting royal reprobates of ridiculous are vying for a feeling of safety. A generation after Woodstock, the liberal notions of the fantasy utopia where whale calls have finally been interpreted and the lovey-dovey dreams of diversity ... (read more)

179. Ripping off the Veil, the Terrorist Attacks in Paris
November 14, 2015

The following three overarching questions need a response: Was Paris Attack, an Attack on Western Civilization? Or, was it an Anomaly out of the Syrian Civil War? Or, Is there a second side of the coin? The attacks of 9/11 followed a brutal and criminal attack in Paris yesterday. It is nothing more than an attack on a civilization that has promoted diversity and opened its doors for others providing them opportunity for economic growth which was not available to them in their home countries. Most western civilizations have helped poor nations financially, yet the public perceptions were ob... (read more)

180. The American Voter - Smarter than a Fifth Grader?
November 12, 2015

Author Doug Johnson, a prolific writer and blogger published a piece about how the election of Ted Cruz could end up getting Hillary into the oval office. I examined Doug’s article and after visiting his blog realized that this colorful writer was loaded with political savvy and a great deal of insight – but with a tinge of the conspiracy theorist penchant for the – ‘what is really behind the scenes, even though nobody can prove it.’ There was only one point in Doug’s article published on the newly rising ‘Barbwire’ website under the direction of J. Matt Barber that I could not get out of... (read more)

181. JEWISH-MUSLIM RELATIONS; LESSON FROM HISTORY
November 08, 2015

The Charter of Medina or of Yathrib (?a?ifat al-Madinah; Mithaq al-Madinah), also known as the Constitution of Medina or of Yathrib (Dastur al-Madinah), was drafted by the Mohammad SWS shortly after his arrival at Medina (then known as Yathrib) in 622 CE [reference bellow] (or 1 AH), following the Hijra from Mecca. The preamble declares the document to be "a book [kitab] of the prophet Muhammad SWS to operate between the believers [mu'minin] and Muslims from the Quraysh tribe and from Yathrib and those who may be under them and wage war in their company" declaring them to constitute "one nati... 183. Putin Warns Isis - Obama Warns School District about Girls Shower Room
November 07, 2015

My first inclination was to title this piece, “Obama threatens to spank school district for not favoring a single transgender student.” Too crass, I thought, but along came an article before I got to write word one; it was entitled “Complete Anarchy’ as Obama Invades girls’ Showers.” The subtitle was even more scathing and reads “Feds force school to comply with 'profoundly stupid' rule.” Good online writers’ hyperlink their important references for safety sake, but this one had to be connected for the reader whose incredulity would not allow them to believe what they were reading. ... 184. How death cleanup companies benefit society
November 05, 2015

Acts such as those that cause violent death are extremely traumatizing to witnesses and especially family members of the victims. Dealing with the aftermath alone is bad enough and this is why death cleanup companies come in handy to help in clearing any remaining mess fast, efficiently and in a compassionate manner. Scenes such as those of an unattended death can be quite a mess especially if the body had undergone some serious decomposition by the time it was being discovered. While the police and the coroner will come in to try and ascertain whether there was any criminal activity, they wil... (read more)

185. Media-Ocrity: Why impartiality is not their concern
November 02, 2015

The late Terence McKenna, the American ethnobotanist and mystic, once exclaimed, “We have to create culture, don't watch TV, don't read magazines, don't even listen to NPR. Create your own roadshow. The nexus of space and time where you are now is the most immediate sector of your universe, and if you're worrying about Michael Jackson or Bill Clinton or somebody else, then you are dis-empowered, you're giving it all away to icons, icons which are maintained by an electronic media so that you want to dress like X or have lips like Y. November 01, 2015

The role of various organizations, such as Amnesty International, Oxfam, Greenpeace, Pakistan Policy Institute and thousand of others serve as, voluntary or civil society organizations whose main focus is to advise governments and international policy making bodies in policy formulation across the continents. Most political scientists term them as Non Government Organizations, or pressure groups, however terming them as such are highly controversial. Scholars agree, that such organizations command significant legitimacy, oftentimes more than the national governments. A German opinion poll show... (read more)

187. Pakistani Nation in Search of a Hope
November 01, 2015

A country, whose 5 million-diaspora living overseas, out of 186 million populations contributes half of her budget. Don’t this reflect the inherent potential of this nation? The key to such success of 5 million over 185.5 millions is the medium of equal justice and equal opportunity provided to them in countries like the United States. Should that be provided to them in Pakistan, the country will grow 1800 times faster than today. What is the missing element? The Leadership. The masses are in a quagmire where they have encountered repeated deceit and deception at the hands of c... (read more)

188. CNBC Debate: Cruz breaks up MSM - Unifies Candidates
October 30, 2015

Sen. Ted Cruz clobbered the moderators of the CNBC debate on Wednesday October 28 when he was asked a ‘gotcha’ question, but instead of taking the bait, he began to rebuke the CNBC inquisitors. Cruz said, “The questions that have been asked so far in this debate illustrate why the American people don’t trust the media. This is not a cage match. And you look at the questions – 'Donald Trump, are you a comic book villain?' 'Ben Carson, can you do math?' 'John Kasich, will you insult two people over here?' 'Marco Rubio, why don’t you resign?' 'Jeb Bush, why have your numbers fallen?' How abo... (read more)

189. Mock Prophecy at Your Own Risk - America is not Exempt
October 29, 2015

The late Harold Camping made his apologies before his death about forecasting the end of the world. Some false prophets don’t apologize for their mistakes because they were sent by an enemy to weaken and obfuscate the real message of prophecy. The desired effect is to turn hearts away from giving full credence to true biblical prophecy and sending the unwary glibly down the path to their own destruction. We may fight, deny and decry true prophecy, but like everything else in our world, prophecy has its day. “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heav... (read more)

191. THE ARAB ISRAEL CONFLICT
October 27, 2015

I have taken an initiative on my own to meet leaders of the American Jewish Congress at a personal level. This may explore avenues of cooperation, and a viable strategy to get Pakistan closer to deal in a two-state solution, procuring gamma rays technology, and securing support for Pakistan in the Congress through Jewish lobby, in addition to lobby that supports my workings. Hopefully, this will help Pakistan in emerging stronger than India at the Capitol, "if a success to pursue Jewish leaders" to forge Muslim – Jewish – Christian alliance is accomplished. This will also help a two state solu... (read more)

192. Why We May Never Stamp Out Racism
October 26, 2015

The scene in Paris where a black man was prevented from boarding a train on the Paris Metro by a number of Chelsea football supporters was proof that despite being 2015, very little has changed. A bystander at Richelieu-Drouot station recorded the event on his mobile phone, capturing the moment the rowdy supporters pushed the man named as Souleymane S., 33 years old, away as he tried to step off the platform and onto the train. They chanted, "we're racist, we're racist, and that's the way we like it". Overwhelmed and humiliated he gave up and walked away. In spirituality, and long co... (read more)

193. Making The Case For The Existence Of Extraterrestrial Life
October 26, 2015

Are we alone in the universe? This is a question that has always remained a source of unending intrigue, which is understandable when you consider the enormous distances across the far reaches of space and time, of which we are but a fraction. The evidence speaks for itself: Our galaxy, the Milky Way, supports a mere 200 billion stars. There are 100 billion galaxies in the known universe, and some, such as the super giant elliptical galaxy IC 1101, with its 100 trillion stars, is considered the largest in the universe. If that wasn't enough, there may even be a multi-verse with multiple u... (read more)

October 26, 2015

Because of the increasing rates of violent crime, there are many agencies that must work together so as to solve all the problems that come as a result; police, forensic experts and crime scene cleanup companies each have a role to play. While most people associate crime scene cleanup personnel with the job of decontaminating the area for fluids and any tiny body parts, they sometimes come across items that can be used as evidence which they hand of to the investigating teams. All these agencies work collectively to try and solve the crime while at the same time protecting those family members... (read more)

196. INDIA-PAKISTAN-CHINA, A TRIO IN KASHMIR CONFLICT
October 25, 2015

The New York Times on September 26, 2014 reported that India and China agreed to defuse the standoff between troops in the disputed border region of Ladakh, Kashmir. The Indian Foreign Minister, Sushma Swaraj, stated this on Friday after meeting in New York with her Chinese counterpart. The area of Ladakh was occupied by the Chinese troops, and details of the deal in Chinese withdrawal are unknown. However, Indian has been made the CEO of the BRICS (Brazil-Russia-India-China-South Africa) Bank in Shanghai. India and China are major trade partners of the region, and are important components o... 197. The Crop Circle Hoax just doesn't Ring True!
October 24, 2015

Crop circles have been appearing in fields across the world as far back as 1667, “Strange News Out of Hertfordshire” ran the headline of the earliest find, now known as ‘The Mowing Devil’. The crop circle phenomena has been increasing exponentially since the 1970’s and the response from the general media and governments has been to launch a campaign to dispel any truth to the suggestion that some of these may in fact be genuine. Bower and Chorley, a couple of ‘pranksters’ whose claims to have been behind the creation of many crop circles since 1978, have only added weight to this ... (read more)

198. Resident Evil: The Horrific Crime Of The Family Annihilators
October 22, 2015

A millionaire father murders his wife and daughter before committing suicide. On this occasion the man shot his family and their pets, including dogs and horses, before setting fire to his £1.2 million mansion. When such incidents occur it is often compelling for not only being an unimaginable and horrific act, but also for its juxtaposition, running contrary to the natural human instinct we have to protect loved ones wherever possible. There is little doubt that the perpetrators of family annihilation, or familicide as it is also known, are overwhelmingly the preserve of men in the ... (read more)

199. Inside The Benighted Regions Of The Arab World
October 22, 2015

There have been many adjectives used to describe the region we call the Middle East. One such description given by David Keyes, the executive director of Advancing Human Rights, a non-profit organization promoting human rights around the world, was the 'Kingdom of hate'. Harsh perhaps, but be in no doubt, the Arab world remains a benighted place at this time, where the harshest of punishments are feted out to its citizens for often minor transgressions, and where women's freedoms are closely monitored and even revoked by their rulers. Intolerant of different faiths and outsiders, the... (read more)

200. Who Exactly Are Fanning The Flames Of The Syria Crisis?
October 22, 2015

The ongoing Syria crisis, described as the 'greatest humanitarian disaster since WWII' continues to shock and appal in equal measure, and it's not hard to see why. As the world wakes up to the realization that these refugees are not freeloaders after all, but are literally fighting for their very existence, and are willing to risk life and limb to be allowed settlement in Europe. Since the Arab spring in 2011, the Assad regime has struggled to maintain control with the rise of the various rebel groups such as the Free Syrian Army and ISIS among them. There have been an estimated... (read more)
