The
ABC islands are
Aruba,
Bonaire, and
Curaçao. They are the three most western
islands of the
Leeward Antilles in the
Caribbean, north of
Falcón State,
Venezuela. From west to east they are in the order Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire.
All three islands are part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Aruba is an autonomous, self-governing member state of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and Bonaire and Curaçao are in the Netherlands Antilles. They may be contrasted with the SSS islands, Saba, Sint Eustatius, and Sint Maarten, all three in the Netherlands Antilles.
