20 April 1937 (48th Birthday)A decorated veteran of World War I, Hitler joined the Nazi Party (DAP) in 1919 and became leader of NSDAP in 1921. Following his imprisonment after a failed coup in Bavaria in 1923, he gained support by promoting German nationalism, anti-semitism, and anti-communism with charismatic oratory and propaganda. He was appointed chancellor in 1933, and quickly transformed the Weimar Republic into the Third Reich, a single party dictatorship based on the totalitarian and autocratic ideals of national socialism. Hitler ultimately wanted to establish a New Order of absolute Nazi German hegemony in Europe. To achieve this, he pursued a foreign policy with the declared goal of seizing Lebensraum "living space" for the Aryan people; directing the resources of the state towards this goal. This included the rearmament of Germany, which culminated in 1939 when the Wehrmacht invaded Poland. In response, the United Kingdom and France declared war against Germany, leading to the outbreak of the Second World War in Europe.[2] Within three years, Germany and the Axis powers had occupied most of Europe, and most of Northern Africa, East and Southeast Asia and the Pacific Ocean. However, with reversal of the Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union, the Allies gained the upper hand from 1942 onwards. By 1945 Allied armies had invaded German-held Europe from all sides. Nazi forces committed numerous atrocities during the war, including the systematic killing of as many as 17 million civilians[3], an estimated six million of whom were Jews targeted in a genocide known as the Holocaust.

4. Igor Ledochowski Conversational Hypnosis - Father of Hypnosis
July 21, 2009
We need to accept it. There are some gifted people, who can just attract any one by their conversational skill and power of speech. Iglor Ledochowski's conversational hypnosis system can be considerd a byproduct of this vocal power.A prime and convincing example of the power of conversational hypnosis can be seen in the era during and before the Second World War when Adolf Hitler managed to influence the entire nation of Germany into believing that his idea were the people of Germany's idea. That was speech making at its best (and that's not even the bad part), but the audience managed to come... (read more)

6. Volkswagen Survives World War 2
June 07, 2009
Volkswagen is an auto manufacturer based out of Wolfsburg, Germany. Translated literally, Volkswagen means “People’s Car” and has an inauspicious beginning to say the least. Unfortunately for the company it would be linked is people’s minds for many years with Adolf Hitler. While it seems to have shed this negative connotation in the years after World War II, it wasn’t always that way.
Ferdinand Porsche was contacted by Hitler because he was interested in a vehicle that was suited for working class people. Several designs were discussed and after working with Han Ledwinka who later design... (read more)

February 04, 2009
Chinese New Year starts today! This time around it's the year of the ox and people born under this sign are said to be calm, dependable, strong leaders, methodical and logical. They are patient, but can be difficult to reason with once angry. Famous oxen include none other than Barack Obama. (Saddam Hussein and Adolf Hitler were born under the sign but let's not dwell on them for too long), Napolean and Margaret Thatcher are also political oxen, but thankfully so are the legends George Clooney, Bruce Springsteen and Jack Nicholson. To celebrate the New Year, we have a selection of gr... (read more)

8. Tom Cruise Unfazed by Bad Press on Valkyrie
December 23, 2008
Valkyrie, Tom Cruise’s latest film, has proven to be a bit tricky in terms of promotion, having gotten some bad press prior to its release on Christmas Day. Besides the film’s touchy subject of the rarely recalled German resistance against Adolf Hitler, the film is also touted as Cruise’s comeback vehicle—quite a tall order considering Cruise’s controversial behavior in recent years. Cruise, however, remains steadfast and enthusiastic during the film’s promotion. "It’s nice to be able to have people talk about the film, as opposed to us reading about the film," Cruise insists. "It is what it i... (read more)

10. McCain Rejects Endorsement of Pastor Over Remarks on Hitler
May 23, 2008
The presumptive Republican party nominee for the U.S. presidency, John McCain, has rejected the endorsement of a preacher criticized for his statements about Jews.
U.S. media reported Thursday that John Hagee, a prominent evangelical leader, told his congregation during a sermon in the 1990s that Adolf Hitler had fulfilled a biblical prophecy by pushing Jews out of Europe and into Israel. McCain quickly distanced himself from the minister, calling the remarks "deeply offensive and indefensible."
McCain Friday is giving select media members a three hour glimpse at his medical records, amid con... (read more)

11. An Alternative To Nazism
March 25, 2008
Introduction When speaking of Nazism, and the ranks that have existed under the ideas of anti-Semitism, one typically also includes others, such as the Ku Klux Klan, White Pride militants, the "Creativity" Movement, among other groups that are of a nationalist and racialist opinion. When I speak of Nazism, I am referring to those who have a particular anti-Semitism and have organized themselves into this movement. While the original National Socialist Party by Adolf Hitler has been expunged by a coalition of Allied forces, the ideas that formed the basis of this party still exist today. Today... (read more)

14. Adolf Hitler - German Nationalist
September 27, 2007
Hitler speaking about Germans says that only those Germans, who live in other countries and have to fight to understand the German language and traditions, really understand the meaning of having to struggle for nationalism or the importance of such a struggle. It is clear that one of the major reasons for Hitler’s nationalistic position is a result of never having been defined as German, he is in actual fact a half-breed German; he feels for those Germans who are in a similar situation. In brief, Hitler in contrast to Bismarck believed that ethnic Germans had the right to live in one Reich wi... (read more)

15. The Expectations on the Children of Geniuses
August 29, 2007
Hitler was once reported to have said that he was bound by duty never to father children, for “the children of a genius inevitably turn out to be fools.” While Adolf Hitler can be seen as being wrong in a number of things, there are several instances in history where the children of proclaimed geniuses did turn out to be disappointments. However, one should be careful to note that these “failures” may be a combination of their famed predecessor's reputation causing performance anxiety or status anxiety to take root and not matters of true incompetence. In the end, Hitler may or may not have u... (read more)

February 16, 2007
Vintage cars ageing twenty to forty years old still roam the streets today in the Philippines. And you can see them either restored in their original state, modified or customized. And the possibility that one of them is a Volkswagen is high.
Volkswagen is a German word which means “people’s car” and considered to be a classic car which was conceived in the year 1934 by Adolf Hitler. It was later immortalized by Walt Disney as “Love Bug” named Herbie, the Beetle that has a mind of its own. A series of four films was produced starring the Beetle.

18. Purported Hitler Art Sells in Britain
September 26, 2006
More than 20 watercolors and sketches attributed to Adolf Hitler were sold Tuesday for more than $200,000 at an auction in Britain.
The artworks, most of them landscapes, sold individually at prices from $6,800 to more than $22,000.
Organizers say a Russian businessman paid the top price for a watercolor on paper entitled "The Church of Preux-au-Bois." It was signed "A. Hitler."
An auction spokesman said the total more than doubled the pre-sale estimate.
Authorities say the artworks were found in a farmhouse in Belgium in the 1980s not far from Flanders, where Hitler was stationed as a German... (read more)

19. Hitler' Desk, Chair Up for Auction
September 04, 2006
A London-based auctioneer says a desk and chair that belonged to Adolf Hitler are up for auction, and could fetch as much as $1 million.
Minas Katchadorian says the oak pieces come from Hitler's luxury apartment in Munich. They were commissioned by a wealthy publisher and Nazi supporter, and delivered to Hitler's apartment in 1929.
When Munich fell to the Allies in 1945, the pieces were used by the U.S. Army after soldiers converted the apartment into a command post.
Katchadorian says the pieces are being sold by a private American collector who wants to remain anonymous. He said the America... (read more)

20. A Few Points About Wren House Plans
March 19, 2006
Today we are going to discuss Wren house plans.
It seems that everyone loves song birds. Even the most notoriously disruptive minds in history, such as Ghengis Kahn, Adolf Hitler, and Idi Amin simply MUST have liked the sound of birds chirruping like little cherubs out on tree branches during the morning. One of the most cherished of song birds is the wren, and so the subject of our article here is about Wren house plans.
If one wants to hear wrens singing away each morning, one can capture a few of these birds and subject them to a life of captivity and possible misery. A better o... (read more)

23. Chavez Rallies Thousands of Supporters on Coup Anniversary
February 05, 2006
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has rallied thousands of supporters in Caracas on the 14th anniversary of a failed coup attempt he led.
His supporters marched through parts of the capital Saturday, while thousands of counter-demonstrators protested what they said was Mr. Chavez's authoritarian rule.
The Associated Press reports Mr. Chavez also told the crowd that if any president resembled Adolf Hitler, it was George Bush.
He was responding to remarks by U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld who compared Mr. Chavez to Adolf Hitler, because, he said, both had been elected legally and then co... (read more)

24. PRINCE HARRY ... YOUR (IN)BREEDING IS SHOWING!
January 15, 2005
Harry, the young Prince of Wales, recently dressed as a Nazi SS officer to attend a costume party. He caught hell for his foolishness and insensitivity in the British press, and the story made international headlines as well.
What makes this story ironic is that Adolf Hitler’s premise in building a “master race” hinged on the theory of eugenics – the pseudo-science of improving the human race through judicious breeding in the same way stock-keepers hybridize animals and botanists hybridize plants. Historically, royalty has such a strong history of inbreeding, with its concomitant genetic de... (read more)

25. Vatican Beatifies Anti-Nazi German Cardinal
October 09, 2005
The Roman Catholic Church has beatified a German cardinal who denounced Nazi atrocities and the policies of Adolf Hitler during the height of the Third Reich's power in the 1940s.
Cardinal Clemens August von Galen was put on the final path to Roman Catholic sainthood Sunday in a ceremony at the Vatican.
In 1941, then-Bishop von Galen used the power of his pulpit to speak out against the Hitler regime. He was elevated to cardinal in 1946, but died one month later.
At St. Peter's Basilica today, Pope Benedict praised Cardinal von Galen for denouncing the Nazis and defending religious freedom, ... (read more)
