When was the last time you update your website and how do you locate a website developer?

I know you're busy with your business. You know you are busy with your small business. Maybe

that's the purpose why many of you don't take the time to update your website with relevant and fresh material.

It's 2013 and surprisingly many company owners still don't understand why you require to have your own website. Just recently a friend told us that "websites are thus out-of-date, everyone utilizes Facebook game and YouTube."

And while that is truly good thing that you are busy, the idea is also a poor thing new new get check out to your site and observe one that doesn't look like it will be up-to-date with new content. People, especially right now, want to help you notice some simple articles and such that they can try to

Be in control. When your website is your own, truly you are in control of your online image and branding. When you promote your business through social media, you are still able to be able to add limited branding however you'll always come in second place to their brand. For example when you publish video clips on YouTube, the YouTube branding will always be prominent. Take control of your online image - don't just let someone else be in control.

The interesting aspect of this, though, is that the mental health professional hasn't posted an article or updated the woman website in more than a year. You know who has, though? Our company! Yes, that's right, we post content on her website that also gets posted on your ex social media sites so her content is fresh and search engines discover a dynamic site.

Drive traffic to be able to YOUR site not necessarily someone else's. Use your content in order to drive traffic to your website not to Facebook or myspace or Twitter! Sounds like common sense right?

Unhappily it's not! Too many small business owners just use third party sites for their online marketing which never not generating traffic to their primary spot of business which is their own site.

Social media is actually an ever-transforming platform. We've all experienced some major Myspace changes in the past few years and most social media websites go on to change and evolve. Don't let someone else be in control of when and how you transmit with your customers.

Even if you think these projections are too high, cut it right down to 4 hrs a month and you still lose $300 a month. It doesn't matter who updates your website, though. What is truly important is that you develop a systematic plan to regularly update your website so that when people go to it they won't need to go anywhere else to help you get the latest information on what you do in your profession.

Do you know why your potential clients are utilizing social media? Are they guitar playing game titles, chatting with friends or are they actively looking for your services? It's impossible to be able to tell thus don't invest too much time guessing.

Your website should probably be the nucleus of your online life. Your social media accounts should probably all bond spinal to content on website website. Stay in control and spend your time building your own assets (your website) instead of someone else's.

Therefore you are out there surfing the web, make a note to copy links of interesting articles and put away them sometimes to put on your website with no remark utilize use for you to blog.
