Albert Einstein ( German IPA&_160; ['alb?t 'a??n?ta??n] (Audio file)&_160; (help·info); English IPA /'ælb?t 'a?nsta?n/) (14 March 1879&_160;– 18 April 1955) was a German-born theoretical physicist. He is best known for his theory of relativity and specifically mass–energy equivalence, expressed by the equation E&_160;=&_160; mc2. Einstein received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics "for his services to Theoretical Physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect." [1]Einstein's many contributions to physics include his special theory of relativity, which reconciled mechanics with electromagnetism, and his general theory of relativity, which was intended to extend the principle of relativity to non-uniform motion and to provide a new theory of gravitation. His other contributions include advances in the fields of relativistic cosmology, capillary action, critical opalescence, classical problems of statistical mechanics and their application to quantum theory, an explanation of the Brownian movement of molecules, atomic transition probabilities, the quantum theory of a monatomic gas, thermal properties of light with low radiation density (which laid the foundation for the photon theory), a theory of radiation including stimulated emission, the conception of a unified field theory, and the geometrization of physics. Einstein published over 300 scientific works and over 150 non-scientific works.[2][3] Einstein is revered by the physics community,[4] and in 1999 Time magazine named him the "Person of the Century". In wider culture the name "Einstein" has become synonymous with genius, and he has since been regarded as one of the most influential people in human history.[5] Albert Einstein was born into a Jewish family in Ulm, in the Kingdom of Württemberg in the German Empire on 14 March 1879. His father was Hermann Einstein, a salesman and engineer. His mother was Pauline Einstein (née Koch). In 1880, the family moved to Munich, where his father and his uncle founded a company, Elektrotechnische Fabrik J. Einstein & Cie, that manufactured electrical equipment.

November 05, 2008
Does it surprise you that only 400 cokes were sold the first year; Albert Einstein's Ph.D. dissertation was rejected; Henry Ford had two bankruptcies before his famous success; or Ulysses S. 3. A Deep Thinking Technique To Try
August 10, 2008
Albert Einstein used a technique for deep thinking, which he referred to as "thought experiments." He didn't invent the technique, but perhaps made it more popular. It was essentially the practice of relaxing and setting a visualization in motion while watching it closely to see what might be discovered.
You may recall that he imagined himself riding a beam of light in this way, which lead to the Theory of Relativity. Elias Howe had a dream about cannibals attacking, and their spears had holes in them. This gave him the inspiration for the sewing machine he invented. There are many ... (read more)

August 05, 2008
Where Has All The Honey Gone? by Sandy Powers

5. You are One with the Universal Mind
July 31, 2008
There is a single, intelligent Consciousness that pervades the entire Universe - the Universal Mind. It is all knowing, all powerful, all creative and always present. As it is present everywhere at the same time, it follows that it must also be present in you - that it is you. Your mind is part of the one Universal Mind. This is not simply a philosophical ideal passed down to us through the ages. It is an exact scientific truth. Know it, believe it, apply it and you will see your life transform in miraculous ways. Albert Einstein told us that "everything is energy"; that "a human being is... (read more)

6. The Hope of a Better Africa
July 29, 2008
“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.” – Albert Einstein Africa – a continent marked by civil wars, dictatorship, xenophobia, poverty and , at many times, shame. People are dying of starvation, children are becoming orphans in an AIDS era and her people are still fighting amongst each other. A bleak summation. Yet it is one that, all too often, springs to mind when we think of this expansive so-called dark continent. While it is true that there is a great deal of suffering there is also a great deal of hope, love and tolerance – this is that Africa that needs to be ... (read more)

7. Einstein's Learning Disability
July 23, 2008
Many organizations that promote the interests of individuals with learning disabilities claim that Albert Einstein had a learning disability, and this claim has become widely accepted.
It is interesting to note that a review of biographical sources, however, provides little or no evidence to support this assertion.
According to LD lore Einstein failed to talk until the age of four, the result of a language disability. It is also claimed that Einstein could not read until the age of nine. To strengthen their case LD proponents point to such facts that Einstein failed his first attemp... (read more)

8. Einstein and the Laser
July 13, 2008
Albert Einstein is sometimes said to be a key person for the invention of the laser. Similarly, his famous equation E=mc2 is sometimes called the key to the atomic bomb. Is that reasonable?
In one of this most important publications (“Zur Quantentheorie der Strahlung”), Einstein has described the process of stimulated emission of radiation. This means that a photon hitting some atom (or ion or molecule) may not only supply energy to this atom in an absorption process, but also send an already excited atom back to a state with lower energy. In the lattter case, an additional photon is emit... (read more)

9. It Doesn't Take an Einstein
May 15, 2008
Stop me if this sounds familiar to you, but I feel it bears repeating at least a few more times. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Ring any bells to you? It is a quote attributed to famed theoretical physicist Albert Einstein. While he may not have specifically been talking about advertising, the idea still holds true and bears consideration.
As consumer culture becomes increasingly fickle, it has become clear that companies can no longer rely on customer loyalty and simple word of mouth to drive business growth. If you don’t ... (read more)

10. Create Personal Wealth Beyond Your Small Business, Part 4
April 30, 2008
Amortization: Your Enemy; the Banker’s Friend
I have to digress a bit to property cover the next aspect of Small Business Wealth Creation. I want to show you the detrimental effects of loan amortization, how lenders benefit from it, and give you a strategy to “turn the tables” on your lender.
One of the greatest financial inventions is “compound interest.” Albert Einstein is said to have called compound interest: “The eighth wonder of the world! Those who understand it profit from those who do not.” I can not verify the source of the quote, but whoever it said it was dead right. ... (read more)

11. 5 Money-On-Demand Secrets To Creating Great Adsense Sites
April 30, 2008
The rage to milk money from Adsense continues into 2008. While there are many different ways to do this, it's no secret Google is keeping a watchful eye on spam sites which automatically generate pages consistently on a daily basis.
Every now and then, Adsense 'experts' would introduce a 'fresh' new way of generating pages which Google "has not caught on yet", be it article, directory or backlink generators.
While these software are very good at what they do, you can't solely depend on them for long-term success. It's a natural tendency that automatically generated content just doesn... (read more)

12. What is Time? From Sundials to NTP
April 23, 2008
Time is an abstract concept. We cannot necessarily see it, touch it or change it, but we are aware that it exists and that is continues to keep passing us by. It has long been thought that time was constant and was the same everywhere in the Universe.
However, Albert Einstein’s theories of relativity (General and Special Relativity) have changed the way we think about time. Einstein suggested that time is part of a four dimensional ‘space-time’ the other three dimension being the up/down, left/right, forward/backward dimensions we are all aware of.
Einstein suggested that this space-... (read more)

13. Einstein's Theories on The Spider Web Marketing System
April 14, 2008
Albert Einstein once said that the definition of insanity is: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. I like to look at it as banging your head against a wall and expecting to make money for it. Doesn't usually work too well. There is apparently quite the debate amongst bloggers as to whether this was originally said by Benjamin Franklin, or Einstein, or someone else. Either way, its true. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is just not very smart any way you slice it.

14. "Creating Your Vision"
April 03, 2008
Creating Your Vision "Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one" Albert Einstein I feel that one of the most important ingredients in your formula for success is having a clearly defined and vivid vision of where you want to be. At first the “how” is not that important, you need to create a vision that gets you so excited that you develop the mentality that you will stop at nothing to get what you want. Many people first focus on the how than very quickly find themselves overwhelmed with too many details and just as quickly talk them se... (read more)

16. Change Your Mind And Change Your Life
March 28, 2008
We cannot solve problems with the same level of consciousness that created them. - Albert Einstein This quote presents the truism that we must change our perspective, our way of thinking, our approach to a problem before we can possibly solve the problem. In other words, If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got. What does the mean in the context of your career? Plenty. If you've been taking the approach of being a reliable, industrious, somewhat reserved worker bee and you notice that you keep getting passed over for the big projects you... (read more)

17. Real Estate Success by Quitting Doing What You Are Doing
March 28, 2008
Albert Einstein is credited for saying that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Another way of saying the same thing is if you keep doing what you’re doing, you are going to keep getting what you got.
Face it, the universe operates under natural laws and if you expect different results, then you are going to have to change what you are doing. That process starts by changing the way you think, because once the thought process changes, then actions will change. Once you start thinking differently and implementing differe... (read more)

18. Look Beyond Your Problem
March 28, 2008
“Problems cannot be solved by the same level of thinking that created them.” — Albert Einstein
Problems come up all the time. They are a fact of life, whether we like or not. They are a vital part of life.
Problems are what invited people to create solutions we use today, and are now common place. Light bulbs and automobiles were created to solve problems.
If problems are an automatic and important part of life, why is it that the solutions do not show up just as easily?
There are a couple of simple reasons for that.
When you are focused on your problem, it fills... (read more)

19. Using Viral Marketing to Grow Your Internet Business
March 04, 2008
Albert Einstein once called compound interest the "8th wonder of the world". He was also quoted as saying that "the most powerful force in the universe is compound interest". Obviously, Einstein had a great deal of respect for the power of compounding. Internet Marketing has its own power similar to that of compounding that is commonly referred to as Viral Marketing. Both use the power of time and leverage to create fantastic returns on capital. There are numerous ways to make use of Viral Marketing, and this article looks at how it can greatly benefit you in your marketing efforts.

21. Can Playing Online Bingo Sharpen Your Mind?
February 15, 2008
It is interesting to note that studies have been conducted that prove that playing bingo, be it online or as a bingo hall can definitely exercise the mind and keep it sharp for longer, sort of like bingo brain callisthenics.
It is a difficult perception to get rid of, but typical bingo players have hardly been stereotyped as Albert Einstein, to the contrary, most people envisage a geriatric dodderer in a musty bingo hall. However, since the onset of online bingo, the demographics of bingo playing has altered quite dramatically. Today, people from every conceivable walk of life, from pop ... (read more)

22. How Landowners Can Help With America's Bee Crisis.
February 12, 2008
As a home owner, or prospective home owner you can put your land/garden to good, environmentally friendly use in many ways. One way is to focus on bringing back the bees. Yes, the North American bee population has been on a serious decline. As the population of these valuable buzzers rapidly decreases, it poses a serious threat to our food supply. To quote Albert Einstein : "If the bees disappeared off the surface of the globe, then man would have only four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man." Whether or not this s... (read more)

25. Reality Is Relative and Kabbalah Uses This Fact
January 12, 2008
If a tree falls in the forest and there’s no one to hear it, did it really fall? And does that tree even exist? Classical science has changed its mind about this again and again, and lately it has taken a direction that is remarkably similar to what the wisdom of Kabbalah has been saying for thousands of years. But first, a brief history detour. For centuries, scientific research was based on the belief that reality and the observer are two distinct entities. Reality was thought to be objective, to exist regardless of whether there is someone observing it or not. In other words, scientis... (read more)
