Mexico is home to several interesting tourist spots including those that are the remains of a past long gone: the Meso-American era where civilizations such as the Aztec and the Mayan (for whom the Grupo Mayan firm is named) civilizations.

British Airways Plc, American Airlines and the Spanish carrier Iberia are seeking immunity from anti-trust laws in the United States and Europe on a proposed joint venture that is likely to involve revenue sharing, price fixing and intra-coordination of schedules, sales and capacities. If permitted, the collaboration will effect flights as far afield as Mexico and Norway.

For historical sake, Cuba was important to the history of Florida and the Keys due to Florida being a Spanish possession until 1762 when Florida was traded to Britain. Milpitas, CA, is a historically rich city, with Muwekma Ohlone Indians being the earliest inhabitants. During the 19th century however, Americans of English, German, and Irish origin started to farm the fertile lands of Milpitas. Etymologically, Milpitas is a Mexican-Spanish word for ‘A garden where corn is grown’. The modern American equivalent however is ‘The backyard garden’. The cannons of Fort Morgan on Alabama's scenic Gulf Coast still stand guard over the clear blue waters of Mobile Bay, witnesses to a bygone era when naval might was crucial to victory and seacoast defenses protected ports from invasion. Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll was born in Barranquilla, Columbia on 2nd February, 1977. In Arabic, Shakira means “thankful”. Her father was an American of Lebanese Italian descent and her mother was Colombian of Spanish-Italian descent. Even though she speaks her native language, Spanish, she is also fluent in English, Portuguese, Italian and Arabic.
