Anarchy (from Greek ??a???a anarchía, "without ruler") may refer to any of the following The tumult of the English Civil War (1641–1651) led to the term to be taken up in political philosophy. Anarchy was one of the issues at the Putney Debates of 1647 As people began to theorise about the English Civil War, Anarchy came to be more sharply defined, albeit from differing political perspectives Meanwhile, we will hate Anarchy as Death, which it is; and the things worse than Anarchy shall be hated more! Surely Peace alone is fruitful. Anarchy is destruction a burning up, say, of Shams and Insupportabilities; but which leaves Vacancy behind. Know this also, that out of a world of Unwise nothing but an Unwisdom can be made. Arrange it, Constitution-build it, sift it through Ballot-Boxes as thou wilt, it is and remains an Unwisdom,-- the new prey of new quacks and unclean things, the latter end of it slightly better than the beginning. Who can bring a wise thing out of men unwise? Not one. And so Vacancy and general Abolition having come for this France, what can Anarchy do more? Let there be Order, were it under the Soldier's Sword; let there be Peace, that the bounty of the Heavens be not spilt; that what of Wisdom they do send us bring fruit in its season!-- It remains to be seen how the quellers of Sansculottism were themselves quelled, and sacred right of Insurrection was blown away by gunpowder wherewith this singular eventful History called French Revolution ends.[8]

6. Capitalism or Socialism?
March 09, 2009
Capitalism or Socialism? If we listen to the arguments for and against Obama’s plans for “our” future, we had better understand the meaning of the two key words that both sides of the argument frequently use. Let’s begin with the country we now live in, or at least used to live in. The United States of America is a Republic. When we pledge allegiance to the flag, we also pledge allegiance to the republic for which it stands. We are the republic, the people by, for, and about all of this country was birthed. We freed ourselves, through revolutionary means, from an anarchy th... (read more)

7. MEXICAN ANARCHY by Arturo Woodrow
November 29, 2008
United States exerts a disproportional influence on the world. One, with harmful consequences, is our puritanical devotion to criminalizing mind-altering drugs. The laws of Nature are as valid as the laws of Physics. It is impossible, absolutely impossible to control people’s behavior. Trying to influence individuals not to use these drugs may be effective, but prevention is unachievable. We have been distracted for 22 months by the Presidential Election Campaign, while our neighbor to the south appears to be heading toward anarchy. Political disorder and violence in Mexico is increasing. Ki... (read more)

April 11, 2008
People are punished for crime, for creating anarchy and for putting humanity into horrifying terror. But, could we ever believe that someone would be arrested, tortured and imprisoned for long 17 months just for being in favor of global peace, inter-faith dialogue, ending religious hatred and thinking of everything good and noble for mankind? In my case it did happen and after being released on bail keeping the sedition charge very much alive. 17. Does A Best Leadership Style Exist?
December 27, 2007
So much is said [and written] about leadership. All questions are answered, it seems. How should you lead? What are the requirements to be a successful leader? How should a leader handle his/her followers? What are the better leadership styles? Everyone knows how to delegate, discipline, and develop your followers. We are also taught how to determine and use vision, mission, motivation and the like. In general, we live in times where the science of leadership, in all aspects has been thoroughly covered. Or has it?
I have often queried the fact that leadership gurus feel so secure in the... (read more)

18. What Is The Most Important Attribute Of An Outstanding Leader?
December 24, 2007
Some leaders appear to think of themselves as gods. This statement is not as far-fetched as you may think, as apparently some followers have a way to expect of their leaders to be gods, being able to work miracles.
Why these statements? I feel compelled to address this issue because, if we look at the lives of some leaders, you can hardly be blamed for thinking that they see themselves as being gods. The things they sometimes do [and get away with]; the things they say [and get applauded for]; and the examples they set [as well as directives they issue] can only stem from one giant miscon... 19. Aerobics is a Spiritual Experience
December 21, 2007
Most fitness books and websites concentrate so heavily on losing fat weight that they lose sight of the higher realms that fitness draws you into. Years of exercising have not only given us fresh insights into ourselves and what makes us tick, it has also given us an entirely different perspective about life.
We are convinced that all of us live in several worlds without recognising it. As a society that needed the protection of organisation against barbarism and anarchy, we built ourselves a safe world enclosing ourselves in physical, geographical boundaries. In the civilising process, w... (read more)

20. Do We Still Need Christian Leaders? [Part 2]
November 10, 2007
In the first part of this article we saw that God triune is The Leader, whether as Father, Son, of Holy Spirit. We will also see that God appoint leaders. Hence, the argument that many Christians hold against leadership is mostly born out of [a] ignorance, and [b] unnecessary exposure to ‘unshepherdly’ leaders. There was no king in Israel at that time; everyone did whatever they wanted. (Judges 17:6 GNB) The problem in Israel was not that there were no suitable persons to appoint as leaders, but that the nation had turned against God, who retained the prerogative to appoint the nati... 21. Do We Still Need Christian Leaders? [Part 1]
November 08, 2007
Over the past number of years I have heard many arguments against leadership in Christian groups. Shall we account it to liberalism? Perhaps progressive thoughts? Or is it to be expected in post-modern Christianity? I hope this does not come as too much of a shock, but personally I think it is absurd, and hopefully many others will agree with me. But I will probably not be able to convince you, will I? Thus let us turn to the source of all wisdom and knowledge, the Bible: Let everyone put himself under the authority of the higher powers, because there is no power which is not of G... (read more)

Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe has marked his nation's independence day by issuing new threats against the opposition and blaming the nation's economic crisis on greed by businessmen and alleged saboteurs.
