Archaeology (sometimes written archæology) or archeology (from Greek ???a??????a, archaiologia&_160;– ???a???, arkhaios, "ancient"; and -????a, -logia, " -logy") is the science that studies human cultures through the recovery, documentation, analysis, and interpretation of material culture and environmental data, including architecture, artifacts, biofacts, and landscapes. Archaeology aims to understand humankind through these humanistic endeavors. [1] In the United States it is commonly considered to be a subset of anthropology, along with physical anthropology, cultural anthropology, and linguistic anthropology, [2] whereas in British and European universities, archaeology is considered as a separate discipline entirely. Methodology, theory, and philosophy centralize archaeological (and anthropological) debate. Research, survey, excavation, analysis, and preservation are the tools of archaeological processes. 'Archaeological goals' are debatable. Some goals include the documentation and explanation of the origins and development of human cultures, understanding culture history, chronicling cultural evolution, and studying human behavior and ecology, for both prehistoric and historic societies.[3] In broad scope, archaeology relies on cross-disciplinary research. It draws upon anthropology, history, art history, classics, ethnology, geography,[4] geology,[5][6][7] linguistics, physics, information sciences, chemistry, statistics, paleoecology, paleontology, paleozoology, paleoethnobotany, and paleobotany.

Cole City Georgia is a hot bed of historical relics. The Cole City area was once home to the Cherokee people. Once they were driven out on the Trail of Tears the land was sold off by lottery. Southern leaders were encouraging the use of slave labor for use in the mines and the iron industries. Shortly thereafter the Civil War began.

Imagine you're in your own Indiana Jones movie called Indiana Jones and The Wheel of Renewal - Journey to Passion. Though the wheel is naturally a circle, the journey is not like "clock work" but rather a flexible process. We start where we are. We may find ourselves at various times at different parts of our lives; reflecting back, learning how to stay present as well as looking towards our future possibilities.
Part of anyone's growth is to look back... (read more)

May 22, 2008
The plot may sound somewhat familiar: an unassuming Archeologist goes up against the growing might of pre-war Nazi Germany in a thrilling adventure with the fate of many on the line. He's got a very common last name, and is known for his daring bravado. But this isn't a blockbuster from George Lucas and Stephen Spielberg - in fact, although it may have been the inspiration for 1981's Raiders of the Lost Ark, this movie came out in 1941!
Forty years before the release of Raiders of the Lost Ark, English actor Leslie Howard released a movie he had directed and produced with his own money, ear... (read more)

21. Genesis Veracity - Where Is The Mexican Aztlan
October 29, 2007
Mexicans speak of Aztlan, also know as Atlan, as their ancient homeland. Atlan means "land of the Herons" according to "the company line" and was allegedly located in the desert Southwest of the U.S. It seems that this is in order to say that it is the ancient Mexican homeland in the current United States of America.
Yet, an ancient Mexican history book, the Popol Vu, says that the ancient ancestors sailed across the Eastern Ocean to Central America in a time of "black rain and constant twilight" also known as the Ice Age. The Eastern Ocean is, of course, the Atlantic Ocean which is de... (read more)
