1. Mobile Home Rentals - A Great Investment
October 16, 2005

Why mobile home rentals? Get past the prejudice and look at the numbers. In our town, for example, a two bedroom house costs $130,000 and rents for $800/month. A $50,000 mobile home on real estate gets $500/month. Cash-on-cash return on investment is obviously higher with mobile homes. Don't let the half-truth that mobiles depreciate in value keep you from investing in them. They lose value in a park, on a rented lot, but not on real estate. My first home was a mobile, bought for $19,000 and sold for $45,000 fourteen years later. House rentals here usually have negative cash flow, wh... (read more)

2. Cheap Houses For Sale
October 14, 2005

We found cheap houses for sale all over the country. My wife Ana and I were on a seven-week drive around the country. It was a vacation, but we looked at houses too, and bought one in a great little town in the mountains of western Montana. It cost $17,500, and after $2000 to fix it up, we lived there for several months before selling it for $28,000. We loved Anaconda. Where else can you fly fish, go to a three-dollar movie in a beautiful old art-deco theatre (the 5th most beautiful in the country, according to the Smithsonian), drop some nickles in a slot machine, eat at a fine restaura... 3. The Proof Is In The Proofing: 7 Tips To Develop Great Proofreading Skills
October 13, 2005

An internet marketer's primary form of contact with their customers is via the written word: website content, display ads, Spam-compliant emails, not to mention forum posts and even response to queries, etc. The list is endless. Because of this, the importance of proofreading one's work, word-for-word, cannot be over-stressed. No one would think of making a presentation while wearing a shirt covered in grease or spaghetti-sauce stains. Nor, despite a few eccentric exceptions, of appearing at one's wedding in sandals and baggy shorts. Yet that is exactly the same thing as allowing even o... (read more)

September 30, 2005

For affiliate Marketers (AMs) success is all about investing in effective advertising. That sounds simple enough. Except that, for every successful AM, there are dozens who never get past the "first base" of making an income (no matter how small) from their efforts. Why not? Because, no matter what the elements of any advertising campaign, one vital factor is knowing how to choose the best, most cost-effective products (advertising tools), for the investment dollar. In short, they need to learn how to shop smart. While "smart shopping" is a term usually reserved for back-to-scho... (read more)

5. CollectibleSport.com offers a great selection of collectible sports memorabilia and gift ideas.
September 28, 2005

COLLECTING anything, antique or modern, is limited by two factors: the money available and the space to be filled. Having determined these basic essentials, it is then a personal matter. The taste of the collector may lead to sports watches or cards, jerseys, or innumerable other things. The lucky acquisition of an admired piece may lead to a determination to get more of the same, or at least to find out what the admiration is all about. Sports Memorabilia Collectors are flocking by the droves to buy Collectible Sports Memorabilia from CollectibleSport. They are taking advantage of the grea... (read more)
