A trip to French Polynesia is just like a dream come true. French Polynesia is an overseas territory attached to France. Located in the center of the South Pacific Ocean, French Polynesia is halfway between Australia and California in the US. Better known by the name of its main island, Tahiti, French Polynesia is a constellation of about 118 islands and islets, categorized into five archipelagos, such as Society Islands, Austral Islands, Gambier Islands, Marquesas Islands, and Tuamotu Islands.
