A resort is a vacation hub that attracts visitors for holidays. Resorts market themselves as establishments that facilitate recreation and relaxation. Resorts can be entire towns or commercial establishments that are operated by a single company. Towns where resorts are a major part of the economy are called resort towns. Well known resort towns include Sochi in Russia, Barizo in Spain, Cortina d'Ampezzo in Italy, and Nice in France.
