A Christian school is a school run on Christian principles or by a Christian organization. The nature of Christian schools varies enormously from country to country according to the religious, educational, and political culture. In some countries, there is a established church whose teachings form an integral part of the state-operated educational system; in others, the state subsidizes religious schools of various denominations; in others, there is a principle of separation of church and state, interpreted in various ways. In the United States, religion is generally not taught by the state-funded educational system, though schools must allow students wanting to study religion to do so as an extracurricular activity, as they would any other such activity. Over 4 million students, about 1 child in 12, attend religious schools, most of them Christian.[1]

October 19, 2009
It’s great to see events hosted by private schools in Palm Beach that get the local community involved. Many times it seems that private schools allow too much of clique-type reputation. October 19, 2009
It’s a tough world out there. Nowadays, kids and teens are being subjected to a lot of “adult” material at early ages. Much of this is due to the fact that kids are being brought up in academic environments that don’t put enough emphasis on academic excellence and character development. Not all school systems are so terrible; unfortunately there are still those out there that leave something to be desired. These environments are not meant to cultivate the proper maturity process for kids and teens. Sadly, many times the students who mature in these types of environments have the tendency to m... 6. The Advantages of a Christian Boarding School
October 16, 2009
Christian boarding school offers many benefits to teenagers and their parents. The obvious advantage is that the school not only provides a wide ranging education program but adds that extra component known to some as spirituality. Even parents who may not be church goers understand and appreciate the importance of a person's inner being and gives much attention to thinking of others and how we can all be better people by caring for others and not just for ourselves.
Christian boarding schools though should not be lumped into the too-much-religion category. The academic programs they offe... (read more)
