1. ECU Flashing helps Enforce better Control on the Engine
September 29, 2011
The Power Train Control Module, also known as the Engine Control Unit is primarily a mechanism meant to determine the amount of fuel, ignition timings and several other parameters required by an internal combustion engine to remain in a workable mode. It functions by reading values from multidimensional performance maps, also known as LUDs. These are input values calculated from signals coming via sensor devices monitoring the engine.
ECU Flashing has been a recent technology in automobiles. Before this, attributes such as the air/fuel mixture, ignition timing, idle speed etc. were... (read more)
