With unmatched quality and unparalleled taste the aroma of the Darjeeling tea is incomparable. It can be compared with nothing in this world as it is superior to every tea type on this earth. }

Darjeeling tea is really pride of India and 78 tea estates have been certified by the Tea Board of India. Here, 9 million kilograms of Darjeeling tea is produced over 17500 hectares of land which is best suited for the cultivation of tea.

Flush – tea harvesting seasons

In the gardens flush usually refers to the tea growing seasons. The first, second and autumn are three types of flushes, each of them characterized by a specific aroma and taste.

• First Flush – Greatly identified as earthy flavor, light color, mild taste and refreshing aroma, the first flush of tea is harvested after winters, generally in mid-March season. • Second Flush – Before the monsoon season, this type of flush is cultivated and produced to give stronger flavor and dark color to tea products. • Autumn Flush – In contrast to the first and second flush, this tea is characterized by full body texture and darker color and it is cultivated soon after monsoons. Common & popular types of Darjeeling tea • Black Tea – This type of tea is greatly consumed in the western world and substantial changes in the tea leaves are brought during the production. Different types of flavors like nutty, spicy, fruity and flowery emerge out of the leaves when they are oxidized to produce black leaf. • Green Tea – It is all about the aroma, flavor and natural health benefits of that produced in Darjeeling which has made it a darling to the western market where people prefer this tea for daily consumption. • White Tea – Steaming and drying are the two most important steps in the production of the white leaf which is of course, the best type when it comes to natural sweetness and delicacy. There is no need of oxidation, rolling and withering of the leaves which contain the natural aroma, color and flavor. • Oolong tea – Basically, this type often comprise of green and black leaf characters which are often recognized by fruity and sweet aroma. It is also known as semi-fermented tea which comprise of full body texture.

When it comes to highest possible grade in cultivation, no one can potentially deny the importance of Darjeeling organic tea. Owing the climatic conditions, environmental benefits and use of natural compost, these products in the locality boast of realistic flavor and ultimate aroma. Of course, there is no use of fertilizers and chemical pesticides in during the cultivation. In this category, interested consumers can easily opt for the best grades of organic Darjeeling tea such as Junpana Muscatel, Barnesbeg Green, Liza Hill Summer 13 Black and Himalayan Green FF 13 teas.

During the preparation the leaf are gently immersed in boiling water. The immersion obtained is the real Darjeeling tea liked by millions. The aroma exuded during the preparation is mind boggling.
