Vape modding has quickly grown into a popular hobby. People are intrigued by the science behind vaping, and the process of creating a unique vaporizer. Building a vape coil requires: - An ohms reader - Resistance wire - Small 2mm screwdriver or drill bit - Torch - Pliers - Small wire cutters - Scissors First, figure out how many wraps you need to make on your vape coil. The number of wraps determines how much surface area will be heated at once. Once you have decided how many wraps you want, cut off a piece of your wire and heat it until it glows. When the entire piece of wire has been heated and is more malleable than it used to be, it is ready to be wound. Since your wire will be hot, it is recommended that you use pliers for the wrapping process. Take your small screwdriver and evenly coil the wire around the screwdriver until you have reached your desired number of wraps. Leave it on the screwdriver as you move on to the next step. The next step is placing your wrapped wire into the RDA. First, unscrew the post screws, and then use the screwdriver that your coil is on to place it in the center of the RDA with your leads in the positive and negative post holes. Once it has been placed, screw the post screws back in. Plug the RDA into your ohms reader and test it. If your reading is within .2 ohms of your target, you are good to go.
