For the past few months we have all been hearing about the election going on in the U.S. But come to think of it, how come we are all concerned about it? We are not even American citizen and how come when we have our own election, they don’t even care at all? These are just some of the questions that keep running around the back of our minds. Undeniably, America is one of the most powerful countries here on Earth. They have dipped their hands in all almost issues around the globe. They also have a very strong military power that could annihilate most armies. Their way of showing their culture is also very effective through the use of different forms of media. They brainwash us with their movies and lures us to embrace their way of life through their music. America is also known to help other countries in terms of financial and medical aids. Though some may think that they are just doing it to gain trust, others still thinks that they are just extending their hands. They also have a very successful business in terms of selling armaments. In fact, they are the number one manufacturer of weapons, yet they are also promoting peace. Isn’t it ironic? With all of the above elements combined, this makes them the most influential nation. They can manipulate most small nations to heed their desires. Specifically, countries that have a great source of natural resources are the ones they control for they want it to feed their industrial needs. As of the moment, they are currently having their presidential elections which put them in the center stage. The candidates are desperately encouraging the people to cast their votes on them for they want to be the leader of this dominant nation. Some of them go to sporting events such as dodgeball for kids just to gain attention and encourage voters to go with their ways. They also immerse themselves to different athletic establishments similar to indoor sports Victoria to encourage first time electorates. But the big question still remains, how will they lead a nation that has tarnished its image for the past years? This issue should be addressed in the best possible way because they need to revive their country to its glorious state. For we know that they are far better before. The new leader should make new policies to make changes which would benefit all of us.
