Human behavior is the collection of behaviors exhibited by human beings and influenced by culture, attitudes, emotions, values, ethics, authority, rapport, hypnosis, persuasion, coercion and/or geneticsThe behavior of people (and other organisms or even mechanisms) falls within a range with some behavior being common, some unusual, some acceptable, and some outside acceptable limits. In sociology, behavior is considered as having no meaning, being not directed at other people and thus is the most basic human action. Behavior should not be mistaken with social behavior, which is more advanced action, as social behavior is behavior specifically directed at other people. The acceptability of behavior is evaluated relative to social norms and regulated by various means of social control. The behavior of people is studied by the academic disciplines of psychology, social work, sociology, economics, and anthropology. In 1970, a book was published called "The Social Contract A Personal Inquiry into the Evolutionary Sources of Order and Disorder" written by the anthropologist Robert Ardrey. The book and study investigated animal behavior (Ethology) and then compared human behavior as a similar phenomenon.

3. An Expert System Powered By Uncertainty
June 19, 2009
The Artificial Intelligence community sought to understand human intelligence by building computer programs, which exhibited intelligent behavior. Intelligence was perceived to be a problem solving ability. Most human problems appeared to have reasoned, rather than mathematical, solutions. The diagnosis of a disease could hardly be calculated. If a patient had a group of symptoms, then she had a particular disease. But, such reasoning required prior knowledge. The programs needed to have the “knowledge” that the disease exhibited a particular group of symptoms. For the AI community, that vague... (read more)

June 09, 2009
Up until the 1950's, society believed that women only participated in sex either for the purposes of procreation or to satisfy their partner. There was shock and disbelief when Alfred Kinsey suggested that women might be capable of feeling sexual desire at all ('Sexual behavior in the human female' published 1953). Unfortunately, although only a relatively small sample of women exhibited sexual desire, the popular message was that all women could potentially be as strongly driven by sex and orgasm as men are. The sexual revolution that followed proposed that in a modern society where... (read more)

9. Simple Methods to Stop Biting Puppies
June 05, 2009
Any responsible dog owner will want to know how soon can a puppy be taught to refrain from play-biting or nipping. Puppies nip and bite with gusto during their games and mock-fights, but their prick-point little teeth also can easily deal damage on human skin. The pain factor is not the only issue to consider; eventually, if the puppy does not learn how to stay on top of this destructive behavior, he can grow into a rather unpredictable dog that will use his mouth when playing and even when trying to tell others what he needs. While the intention can be dismissed as harmless, the damage on the... (read more)

May 19, 2009
One of the interesting aspects of human behavior is that you often find that different emotional as well as behavioral patterns tend to run in families. Twitter is after all nothing but a gathering of people where people are talking incessantly about what they like.
