Is no wonder that Halloween is considered one of the best holidays of the year. Besides the traditional meaning, there is a perfect opportunity of having fun with friends. Every 31st of October, the friends and family get together for partying in a special way. Halloween night remains mysterious and creepy for many of us while we’re celebrating it with horror movies, trick or treating, costume parties and masks. There are many Halloween traditions we follow, as dressing up in order to scary our neighbours and sending Halloween ecards for surprising our friends. The costumes, the cards and anything else we use in the honour of dead spirits at Halloween, can be different styles, from something really scary and shocking to something rather inoffensive and silly. Many companies organize Halloween parties. So if you prepare to celebrate Halloween with co-workers, you have to adapt somehow to the rules of the party and bosses requests and avoid bringing your own style without considering the others affinities. There is nothing wrong to bring a scary costume as long as people gather together to have fun and usually we step aside the rules, even in the most tensed collective of work. However you might want to go for a funny costume, to look prettier and a little bit casual. This way you’ll avoid a certain embarrassing moment when everybody is starring at you when you enter the door. Things are much different when you are hanging out with the closest friends or family. Having a party with them at Halloween should make you feel comfortable to wear any costume, no matter how twisted or spooky it is. At a friend’s party, there are also other things you are free to do, whether you are at somebody’s house or at home. Unlike the work mates, your friends are certainly more open to pranks, jokes, drinking, casual talking and making fun one of each other. If you party with the family, the children relatives are those who will ask you to play with all night, running in the house and playing special games for Halloween. The kids are imaginative when it comes to Halloween and you’d probably get some serious scares with them, despite their innocent looks. But no matter what party you attend, I really hope you’ll have a lot of fun and you’ll remember it even next year. The Halloween is always scary and brings to us strange and insecure feelings, but also has its particular sides: office Halloween is different by the friendly Halloween spent at home. Some witches and monsters can be scarier than others, especially when you know who’s behind the mask.
