2. Audi October Sales Up 5.3%

Audi AG, the luxury automotive arm of Volkswagen AG, recently announced that its global sales worldwide rose by 5.3 percent in October compared to last year’s. The Ingolstadt-based maker of the TT and A4, among others, said that it sold 76,900 cars last month, up from the 73,050 it sold in October 2006.
That put the company on course to surpass its goal of selling 950,000 cars by the end of the year, said Ralph Weyler, who oversees marketing and sales at the company. Audi AG will be launching the cleanest diesel technology in the industry. The Ingolstadt, Bavaria-based automaker will be putting the technology into series production from mid-2008.
The new TDI engines boast of ultra-low emission system that harmonizes superior pulling power and spontaneous performance of the current power units. As a result, unbeatably low emissions and superb fuel consumption figures are reached. 4. Audi's DTM: To Turn The Tables

The Audi AG is about to set forth a powerful campaign dubbed DTM. The campaign will begin this weekend at Hockenheim. The German automaker is delivering their DTM campaign with high hopes to snatch the crown back from Mercedes which is its closest rival.
