Indonesian rescue teams are stepping up efforts Tuesday to reach survivors from a capsized ferry that was carrying some 600 people.
Officials say more than 200 people have been rescued, since the ferry went down Saturday in the Java Sea during a storm. One hundred bodies have been found.

Indonesian authorities say hundreds of people are missing after a ferry sank in stormy waters off the coast of Central Java.
Officials say only about 24 people have been rescued so far. They say the ship, carrying at least 500 passengers, was traveling between the port of Kumai in Central Kalimantan province and Sumarang in Central Java when it went down at around midnight on Friday.
