Karl Heinrich Marx (May 5, 1818 – March 14, 1883) was a German[1] philosopher, political economist, historian, political theorist, sociologist, communist and revolutionary, whose ideas are credited as the foundation of modern communism. Marx summarized his approach in the first line of chapter one of The Communist Manifesto, published in 1848 “The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles.” Marx argued that capitalism, like previous socioeconomic systems, will inevitably produce internal tensions which will lead to its destruction.[2] Just as capitalism replaced feudalism, he believed socialism will, in its turn, replace capitalism, and lead to a stateless, classless society called pure communism. This would emerge after a transitional period called the "dictatorship of the proletariat" a period sometimes referred to as the "workers state" or "workers' democracy" .[3][4] See, for example, Marx's comments in section one of The Communist Manifesto on feudalism, capitalism, and the role internal social contradictions play in the historical process "We see then the means of production and of exchange, on whose foundation the bourgeoisie built itself up, were generated in feudal society. At a certain stage in the development of these means of production and of exchange, the conditions under which feudal society produced and exchanged...the feudal relations of property became no longer compatible with the already developed productive forces; they became so many fetters. They had to be burst asunder; they were burst asunder. Into their place stepped free competition, accompanied by a social and political constitution adapted in it, and the economic and political sway of the bourgeois class. A similar movement is going on before our own eyes.... The productive forces at the disposal of society no longer tend to further the development of the conditions of bourgeois property; on the contrary, they have become too powerful for these conditions, by which they are fettered, and so soon as they overcome these fetters, they bring order into the whole of bourgeois society, endanger the existence of bourgeois property."[5] Marx argued for a systemic understanding of socio-economic change. He argued that the structural contradictions within capitalism necessitate its end, giving way to communism

The Communist Manifesto, co-authored with Friedrich Engels, was published in 1848. Commissioned by the Communist League, the manifesto urged the working classes to overthrow its rulers and establish a classless society without private property. The Russian Revolution turned his theory into reality and the world was never the same again.

5. American Speech Police And Our Constitution
November 04, 2008
The US Constitution, through the First Amendment of The Bill of Rights, specifically says, “Congress shall make no law ... abridging the freedom of speech ...” That’s what it says. So one might think people are free to say whatever they think about any subject. But, is this really true?
There are many examples in history showing how people have lost their freedoms, including free speech, through seemingly free elections. The rise of Adolf is one case in point. Though the Nazis only got 43.9% of the vote, they were able to coerce enough other parties to support them so that Hitler was able... (read more)

June 29, 2006
Embourgeoisement an Immiseration, two theories, both political in nature, pertaining to the working class, and necessary tools needed to maintain a stabilized working state. Essential to any working state, is the ability to avoid a disruption of productivity. The primary object or premise of these two theories is just that, to maintain a working class order. Immiseration, stemming from a Marxist view, postulates an always-steady declining condition of a working class. Marxism, being the body of theories derived from the works of Karl Marx (1818-83), views the world and its history a... (read more)

14. Advance Loans
March 01, 2006
According to the German economist and social philosopher Karl Marx, money, which is in these days to us the most important object for life, does not find its use if someone, say, an American, wants to use his money in US dollars in the deep forests of Africa. That thought aside, money comes to us with immense importance once we start leading our lives in the modern city arena.Cash advances, or simply advance loans, are cash money that one has the opportunity to receive on certain conditions. However, as we all know, a loan is an amount of money that has to be returned to the individual or the ... (read more)
