Checking active warrants for arrest in your name is a very important issue but the question is why an active arrest warrant has been issued in your name. There may be many reasons but some of them may be that you have forgotten to pay your car parking fees or you could be the victim of criminal identity theft where someone has stolen your identity and committed a crime in your name. Another case where an arrest warrant can be issued in your name is for violation of some traffic rules. You may have parked your car in a non-parking zone or you have violated some traffic signals or attained high speed while driving your car. The sooner you find out that an arrest warrant has been issued against you the better it will be for you so that you can take immediate steps to pull out yourself from more dangerous situation. 1] Check the courthouse: If you suspect that an arrest warrant have been issued against you and you can also guess the area it could be then immediately go and ask at the relevant courthouse. The courthouse will tell you if there is any arrest warrant in your name. Courthouses don’t arrest anybody unless the crime is serious. So going to Courthouse and asking them is a good option to find out if any arrest warrant has been issued against you. 2] Check Online: There are various websites where you can search for active arrest warrants in the name of various persons. 3] Take the help of a Cop: A Cop can help you to find out if any arrest warrant has been issued in your name but if he/she founds one then they can arrest you on the spot. If that’s the case then show them all proof that you are a victim of identity theft and honestly cooperate with them so that they can help you to get rid of the critical situation.
