If you are thinking about distributing promotional gifts you may be trying to find a way to get away from the standard water bottles, hats and shopping bags. There are quite a few promotional gift options that are underrated. Businesses may be unwilling to hand out these items because they may think that they will not be well received. In the right setting, however, they can actually be some of the most memorable and most affordable options where promotional gifts are concerned. There are a few things that each of these items have in common. One is that they are useful. They can be used on a daily basis rather than being placed on a shelf like some decorative promotional gift options may. This is actually very beneficial for your company. Because they are used almost daily, they will be seen by a wide variety of people. The second thing that many of these items have in common is that they are affordable. Again, this can be a huge benefit for companies that may be hoping to hand out gifts to their clients but who may not have the largest gift budget to work with. If these two factors appeal to you, here are some promotional gift options that should be used more often, but which are often overlooked. The first is a key loop or keychain. These can be made out of a variety of materials including metal, leather, plastic and wood. They may even be made from a mixture of several different materials. A good example is a key loop that has a metal or plastic disc on top of a leather fob or strap. The right keychain is something that a person will carry with them wherever they go. This means that your promotional gift has the potential to be seen by a large number of people, something which can be great for building your customer base. The next promotional gift which is often overlooked is the pen. Because an increasing number of businesses have gone paperless it may seem like pens are not good gifts to give. However, many people still use pens on a daily basis for a variety of purposes. Again, this means that a good pen that feels comfortable to hold and which does not leak ink can be highly visible because it is likely to be taken everywhere. As well, their low cost means that you can afford a slightly higher caliber of pen or you can afford to hand them out to a larger number of people. Taking the time to explore your options can be helpful as it can enable you to select the best gift options for your company. Make sure to compare prices and look for any costs such as shipping or personalization costs that can drive up the total price of your order and may take it above the total amount that you have budgeted. The last thing you want is to get what you think is an affordable option only to find out that it has, in fact, ended up being out of your price range.
