Phonetics (from the Greek f??? ( phonê) "sound" or "voice") is the study of the physical sounds of human speech. It is concerned with the physical properties of speech sounds ( phones), and the processes of their physiological production, auditory reception, and neurophysiological perception. Phonetics was studied as early as 2,500 years ago in ancient India, with Pa?ini's account of the place and manner of articulation of consonants in his 5th century BC treatise on Sanskrit. 1. Etymological approach for slang dictionary

Slang dictionary is not a resource to be just read rather you will have to learn to pronounce the words in a regional accent correctly. The etymological approach works better for a slang dictionary more than anything else. When you are going to use the slag dictionary you might perhaps learn the meanings of the words also pretty quickly. In a slang dictionary you might be more concerned about the phonetics and pronunciation rather than being bothered about using the correct verb, adjective, or adverb for the term. 2. Learn Spanish Language

Knowledge of Spanish is very helpful when basking in these beautiful, Spanish-speaking countries, but even if you don’t know the language it’s still very enjoyable. If these financially challenged locals can learn another language without ever participating in any sort of total- immersion course in an English speaking country then what excuse do Americans have for not learning Spanish. A comprehensive and balanced curriculum integrating all aspects of the Spanish language, reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, phonetics and vocabulary, makes the language study more comprehensive, but...
