1. The Lions of the Desert
November 18, 2008
Desert Lions are amongst the most unique large predators on earth, that reside in the deserts of Africa. They have adapted to their life in deserts with unique behavioral modifications. They reside largely in the deserts present in the country of Namibia, in the south of Africa.
Despite living in an adverse environment, these lions are quite healthy and fit, in fact perhaps even more so than the lions that live in plains. It appears that the harsh terrain and scarcity of prey has played a part in molding these great cats into their chiseled physical form. Since they reside in an open unre... (read more)

4. Great Plains 7.5, 6.0, 5.5 support overview for consultant
November 11, 2008
Great Plains Software Dynamics and eEnterprise were very popular in time of these historical versions releases. We know that large number of small and midsize businesses decided to stay with these historical versions and do not undertake upgrade. One of the blocking reasons was lapsing in Microsoft Business Solutions annual enhancement programs. This lapse doesn’t allow you to get newer version license key: 10.0, 9.0, 8.0. If you are on one of these historical versions, plus if you have FRx, Dexterity customizations, ReportWriter and Crystal Reporting – Alba Spectrum is well positioned to ... (read more)

5. Top Secret Area in Super Mario World
November 10, 2008
This is the biggest secret in Super Mario World. It is called the "Top Secret Area". I completely missed this the first three times I played Super Mario World. Then out of boredom the fourth time playing Super Mario World I discovered it.
It is very simple to find. First go to Donut Plains #1 and get a cape from one of the Caped Koopas. Then go to Donut Ghost House #1. At the very start of the stage fly up to find a ledge. Follow this to be rewarded with several 1-ups. Then finish the stage and it will open a level called "Top Secret". It isn't actually a level but just a screen like Yosh... (read more)

6. Beat Super Mario World in 12 Stages
November 10, 2008
First start a new game of Super Mario World. Then from the start go to the right to Yoshi Island #2. The Yoshi Island stages should be a cake walk. Then proceed to Yoshi Island #3. Then Yoshi Island #4. Then beat the first castle (Iggy's). That takes care of the easy part.
Here is when things get a little more complicated. Proceed north from the castle to Donut Plains #1. Make sure you get a cape from one of the Caped Koopas in the beginning. Now Go right before the end of this stage and fly up to reveal a key and secret door.
This will take you to Donut Secrets #1 (underwater stag... (read more)

7. Great Plains User Training Overview for Consultant
November 10, 2008
Microsoft Dynamics GP ERP is typically deployed in mid-size organizations, or if it is in the smaller firm, then likely that business processes are relatively complex, and this was potentially one of the reasons Great Plains was evaluated and chosen. As modern MRP and ERP applications, Dynamics GP is relatively intuitive, especially considering role-oriented pages with tight integration with Microsoft Office and Sharepoint. However it is still mid-size ERP and as such precise user training is needed. Ideally this publication should help you with your Great Plains Dynamics GP consulting part... (read more)

8. Great Plains Technology Partner News: Version Upgrade
November 07, 2008
Microsoft Dynamics GP version update should be entrusted to professional Great Plains consultant, as there are multiple scenarios, such as required service packs, upgrade paths (such as if you are on version 6.0 and need to get to version 10.0 – which intermediate steps should you make). If you have add-ons, you should first check with add-on ISV if the add-on is ready for the intended version. During version upgrade process you may find that some of your tables contain so-called orphan records, where business logic is to some extend compromised and upgrade virtually stops – you will need to... 9. Great Plains Partner Newsflash: Remote Support
November 05, 2008
Microsoft Dynamics GP ERP solution fits to the majority of US, Canadian midsize businesses and your selection on MRP applications market should be based on available application functional and technical support. Large ERP vendors, such as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP are leveraging centralized technical support, where you don’t expect technician onsite and rather open cases, email or phone to the nationwide or regional support center. In the case of Great Plains you have GP Partner or reseller, who typically implements the system initially or, who is chosen by you down the road to provide adequate... (read more)

10. Great Plains Reseller Newsflash: GP Dexterity Software Development Factory
November 03, 2008
Microsoft Dynamics GP ERP and MRP application is successor of former Great Plains Dynamics and eEnterprise. Great Plains Software Dynamics accounting application was introduced in earlier 1990th as the future replacement for Great Plains Accounting for DOS and Windows. GPA as well as earlier Dynamics was available on competitive OS platforms: Windows and Mac. At this time, fall of 2008, it is probably impractical to talk about Great Plains Accounting customizations, as if you are still on GPA, you are probably not looking for business expansion, or if you have such plans, then you should co... 11. Blind Poet Seeks Free Clipart
November 03, 2008
Pounding across the windswept plains of dusty Troy, chariots careen around a savage battlefield as spears fly and swords flash. Gods rage in the sky and on the ground as heroes clash and weapons crash. Amidst it all flows the stuff of greatness. Though recorded by a blind poet, the word-picture of the battles at Troy is enough to drive the image home. Modern times call for modern measures, however, and in the digital world, free clipart has replaced blind poets hands down. The world has its needs for great and powerful words, it is true, but the Internet and amateur and professional worlds of ... (read more)

Great Plains Software Dynamics and eEnterprise were popular in Europe, prior to Microsoft acquisition of Great Plains Software, and since then Microsoft acquired also such ERP as Navision with strong European market presence. 21. Great Plains Integration Manager: working with Advanced ODBC queries
October 20, 2008
Microsoft Dynamics GP Integration Manager module is pretty simple, especially when your incoming data is prepared and structured in CSV or tab delimited text file. The same result if data is ODBC compliant and you can easily map it in the destination. However, very often you are in the situation when you can not control the incoming text file and have to massage it in the query. In order to achieve this goal, you need to deploy Advanced ODBC queries. Good example is when you are importing customer invoices and some of them might be negative, and in this case you need to treat them either a... (read more)

London men dress to impress as markets fall.
A new trend in mens fashion is being seen in London. Saville Row tailors report a move away from conspicuous consumption. Bespoke customers are moving away from brash chalk stripes into plains, soft herringbone and light sharkskin fabrics. There appears to be no slowdown in the bespoke market.
Across London elegant, serious suits are making a return. The hedge fund fashion for dressing down is being subtly replaced as men seek to dress to impress. There is a feeling if you are casual in your clothes then you are casual in your job.

Yet most Americans don't seem to realise they could, right now, get everything dreamed of since before natives lived on the plains.
HOW?
Forgo getting drawn into personalities (McCain, Obama...)
Opt instead for the one thing (amazingly) that you lot don't make, or sell! The very thing that's missing in the market place. Hence, all this credit crunch trouble, confusion and panic...
