1. About pocket watches and specific systems
January 10, 2012
Most pocket watches consists on a complex system. Its mechanism is worth a look. The term time, on the other hand, presents a variation in the field of relativistic mechanics, because it does depend on the reference system in which the observer is located and consider also its state of motion. In quantum mechanics, in turn, should make a distinction between the view of this and the concept that quantum mechanics deals with the more conventional cutting, where there is space to work with the concept of absolute time measurement. The relativist, on the other hand, situation is similar to what o... (read more)

2. Zero Point Energy-Exclusive Benefits Revealed Right Here
December 11, 2011
According to an idea of quantum mechanics, zero point energy is defined as vacuum energy because it is a high quantity of free energy in a void area or vacuum. In the absence of heat, it is possible for energy to be present. If the zero point can be obtained, researchers think that homes can have enough power to operate for extended periods of time, in addition to other exceptional possibilities. Individuals have proposed throughout time that the potential to collect unimaginable quantities of energy exists. Making this energy available for use in homes was not possible until recent times. 3. Breakthrough Toward Quantum Computing
September 10, 2011
ScienceDaily (July 16, 2011) — A sort of Holy Grail for physicists and information scientists is the quantum computer. Such a computer, operating on the highly complex principles of quantum mechanics, would be capable of performing specific calculations with capabilities far beyond even the most advanced modern supercomputers. It could be used for breaking computer security codes as well as for incredibly detailed, data-heavy simulations of quantum systems.
It could be used for applying precise principles of physics to understanding the minute details of the interactions of molecules in ... (read more)

7. Does Hypnotism Work?
February 14, 2011
How does hypnotism work? Is it just some stunt dreamed up by burnt out psychiatrists who are fed up of listening to middle aged men wine incessantly about how they may have the body of an soap dodging, obese alcoholic but inside they feel like an Olympic athlete and don't understand why their wives can't see the man within? (sorry got a bit carried away there) Firstly, if the question is “does hypnotism work?” then you need to understand what you mean by “work”. Can hypnosis make you learn quantum mechanics in a day, will it make you invisible or put you in touch with your inner spirit an... (read more)

8. Quantum Consulting: The Simplest Solution to your Management Needs
December 13, 2010
Quantum Consulting: The Simplest Solution to your Management Needs
Quantum, by definition, is the minimum amount of entity or energy involved in an interaction. It may seem to have a small contribution, but its role is monumental. The most popular field of quantum mechanics is in physics, more particularly in the study of photons and electrons. Photons are referred to as the light quantum, which is found in the nucleus of every matter. Now put this description into the concept of quantum consulting. You would then realize how important its role really is. To explain further, quantum c... (read more)

9. Psychokinesis as a Primary Psi Process
December 07, 2010
To understand the role of psi, it is best to view psi as an ability, or feature, in which is bound to an individual human being as a function of his or her personality in the broadest sense of that term.
Much effort has be given in regards to speculating on how psi works, which is not the same as the consideration of what psi is for or why human beings possess such an ability. Such questions must be addressed to move forward in an understanding of psi, and this understanding must be applied to move forward in developing a model of psi.
In the mid-70’s there was a shift in view surrou... (read more)

10. Extrasensory Perception Proven Via Repeatable Empirical Evidentiary Support
December 07, 2010
Studies in regards to extrasensory perception have been subjected to marginalization due to a lacking of theoretical support, but not a lack of repeatable empirical evidence.
Extrasensory perception is not easily comprehensible via the traditional understandings of perception and cognition, but more comprehensive physics (i.e. quantum mechanics) may open the door to more comprehensive ESP models.
Since the mid-19th century, experiments have been conducted in order to investigate into the nature of ESP. Today, utilizing modern experimental methods and meta-analytical techniques, despi... (read more)

12. Your Intentions Catalyze Your Desires
September 20, 2010
Wish is both healthy and natural. Desiring some thing is usually observed as superficial and "non-spiritual" among certain circles. Wish is the impulse and intention that propels the total Universe. September 20, 2010
Wish is each wholesome and normal. Wanting something is frequently observed as superficial and "non-spiritual" amongst particular circles. Your want is the tinder for each and every Universal mechanism. According to modern Quantum mechanics and many contemporary non secular lecturers, God is merely a word to describe an eternally abundant source of power underlying the complete World. People can tap into the supply of God and recognize this infinite resource of energy, and begin to take control of their lives. 14. more about the impact of computer science
June 08, 2010
more about the impact of computer science In 1958, Chaim Pekeris completed a landmark project in computer science. as a physicist at the Weizmann Institute of Technology in Israel, he become fascinated with the relatively new science of quantum mechanics and its potential to explain from first principles the behaviour of Pavilion DV2000 battery atoms. There was a problem however. The equation developed by Schrodinger that could do the job was too complex for mere mortals to handle. Using it to determine the electronic energy levels of a even a lowly helium atom was seemi... (read more)

15. 96% of Our Universe is Missing - What Can the Matter Be?
May 02, 2010
It's an embarrassment of gargantuan proportions that lies at the heart of modern physics, a kind of cosmic elephant in the room. Put simply, physicists realize that when we look out 13.7 billion light years across the visible universe with our telescopes, whether at visible, infrared, gamma ray or x-ray wavelengths, we are only seeing a tiny proportion of all that there is. Modern physics and its key theories of Newtonian and quantum mechanics and general relativity, which has successfully provided us with everything from iPods to GPS systems simply doesn't have a clue as to what makes up 96% ... 16. The Interconnectedness of Reality
February 20, 2010
There is very little mathematics and the book is designed to be readable by everyone, although the first essay discusses concepts in physics and chemistry that may be challenging material for the layperson with little or no physics background. However, scientific principles are restated in a philosophical way that is relatively informal and simple. Complicated jargon is usually explained, and difficult concepts and ideas are described using understandable language and examples, so the book should be comprehensible and accessible to most educated laypeople even though it is somewhat specialize... 17. Holographic Universe
January 25, 2010
Bear this in mind. Everything you see, hear, touch , & feel is simply a signal that is processed internally & interpretated by the brain.
As a recent cosmologist on the "Things we don't already know- Are we real?" TV programme, how do we know we are real?
Now supposing you could have your brain hooked up outside your body. You would see you brain, but it's only an optic signal intepreted by your brain as an image. Hence, by reasoning, how do you know your brain is real?
The implications of a holgraphic universe are shattering, if true, & would change our perception of reality... (read more)

18. I am a Spiritual Being - I Do Not Feel The Need To Attach Myself To Any Religious Doctrine
January 25, 2010
I am a Spiritual Being - I do not feel the need to attach myself to any religious doctrine
I am not a religious person, but I am spiritual. I do not feel the need to attach my beliefs to any doctrine.
I believe that before the big bang there was just a consciousness (call it God if you like, or divine being) in the form of energy.
Without matter this energy could not experience things & thus evolve. It thus exploded (big bang) and matter was created. Hence we are all part of the divine being, & we all contribute to it's experience (good or bad) & help it evolve.
We are a... (read more)

19. Integrating Your 4 Freedoms (Part 3 of 9) - Remote Viewing
November 05, 2009
Outside the realm of physics, other experiments have shown that there are connections between mind and matter that can’t be explained by the old model of separation. Studies starting in 1972 and lasting over two decades were conducted under the sponsorship and supervision of the CIA and the United States Department of Defense. These experiments involved sets of two people who had no contact with each other. One person acted as a remote viewer while the other randomly selected a location to visit anywhere on the planet. Although the remote viewers had never physically been there, they accuratel... (read more)

20. Let there be light - and there was Obama
July 21, 2009
The Universe is about balance. People and this world are about division and separation. The news media show us the beautiful dance of separation on a daily basis. For example, president Obama shows off his excellent eye-hand coordination by swatting a fly while being interviewed on television. The world is in awe of a president that can kill flies with his own hands – what was that again about small things amuse small minds? PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) are upset because a fly was killed publicly by a prominent person who thinks he is Buddha. I recently hea... (read more)

21. Can I optimise my website myself?
July 30, 2008
Many people try their hand at website optimisation or SEO by themselves. They were told by someone that it wasn’t hard, so they have had a go at doing it themselves. These people and I’m sure there are a few exceptions, probably aren’t business men or women. Why have I come to this conclusion? Well business people don’t have the time needed to launch a successful SEO campaign. SEO isn’t quantum mechanics, however, it does take a lot of time and hard work to make it a success and most business people just don’t have the time. I would suspect that even if they did have the time they still w... (read more)

23. Religious Terrorism
October 13, 2007
If the earth decided to fly off on its own, leaving the solar system and its orbit behind, the first problem earth would have is that things would get cold — real fast! On the other hand, there are no warmer friends than those who leave people alone regarding their deepest ideals. Quantum mechanics and scientists such as Einstein have shifted our view of the universe. Instead of lumps of rocks and gases and bacteria - solid matter - it seems that the universe is constructed of probabilities. The electron is stationary, yet it moves; it exists, yet it doesn’t. More strangely, how a scie... (read more)

24. Karma and Quantum Mechanics (Part 1)
April 04, 2007
From the Buddhist Diamond Sutra, which investigates emptiness: “However many species of living beings there are — whether born from eggs, from the womb, from moisture or spontaneously, whether they have form or no form, whether they have perceptions or they do not have perceptions . . . all compounded things are like a dream, a phantom, a drop of dew, a flash of lightening. That is how to meditate on them, that is how to observe them.” And from the Buddhist Heart Sutra: "Form is emptiness, emptiness is form. Emptiness is no other than form, form is no other than emptiness.... (read more)

25. Quantum Evolution, How Physics' Weirdest Theory Explains Life's Biggest Mystery
November 08, 2006
The book Quantum Evolution, How Physics’ Weirdest Theory Explains Life’s Biggest Mystery, considers Quantum Evolution as an important factor influencing biological evolution and the human consciousness. A professor of molecular genetics, author Johnjoe McFadden provides a comprehensive account of the origins of life to the evolution of human consciousness. McFadden details how evolution, with an emphasis on Darwinian evolution, could not have occurred without the influence of quantum mechanics instigating specific molecular and cellular actions. He dismisses naturalism as the single cause of ... (read more)
