1. Cursed by Mike Evans - The Conspiracy to Divide Jerusalem
November 21, 2011
In January 2001 President Bill Clinton almost accomplished the feat of giving half of Jerusalem to the Palestine Liberation Organization. Arab sources show that Clinton's far-reaching offer to the PLO involved an extraordinary new development: It gave the PLO almost everything it wanted, including 98 percent of the territory of Judea, Samaria, and Gaza, all of East Jerusalem except for the Jewish and Armenian quarters, Palestinian sovereignty over the Temple Mount, conceding only the right of Jews to pray there, and a compensation fund of $30 billion.
In 2009 two men entered into a clande... (read more)

2. Missions and the Bible
November 12, 2011
I had only been a Christian for a short time when I made this sign and placed it on the inside of my bedroom door. “Every excursion from this room is a missionary journey.” Was this an erroneous theological misfire from a baby Christian, or an intuitively correct theology granted by the Holy Spirit? Well, … let's see. God and the Program “... (B)ut you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the remotest parts of the earth” (Ac 1:8). For my first several years of Christianity, ever... (read more)

3. Christ Calls for Divine Ordination
August 27, 2011
As He prepared to go back to heaven, Jesus told His Apostles, “When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will be filled with power, and you will be witnesses for me in Jerusalem, in all of Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). At the Presbytery of New Hope’s meeting to vote on the ordination of homosexuals in February of 2009, Katie Ricks of the Church of Reconciliation in Chapel Hill, NC came to the microphone and told the gathered Presbyterians of her ministerial role at her church, of her love for her female partner, and of her desire to be ordained. Katie followed a s... (read more)

4. Israel, For Sake of PR, Say ‘No' to Anti-Boycott Law By Ronn Torossian
July 24, 2011
As a proud activist and supporter of Israel, I believe in an integral land and State of Israel, including Israel’s right to Judea and Samaria. Yet, I say that the new anti-boycott law approved by Israel’s Knesset, which provides for civil sanctions against supporters of boycotts targeting Israel or its settlements, is a major public relations mistake. While Israel does, in fact have a need to push against those who would delegitimize the nation, couldn’t this statement have been expressed better by a lobby organization or NGO? How much of an impact will this “law“ really have for all ... (read more)

September 20, 2010
In the midst of the darkest time of history there is a voice of one crying in the wilderness prepare ye the way of the Lord.Nightly tears flow as the Lord cries out to His people in a city by the Bay of the Holy Spirit as he did over 2000 years ago near the sea of Galilee.Mobile is the sister city of Samaria and like her we know not what we worship in America, yes we attend our services at the local church each Sunday to meet our weekly obligation and yet don‘t even know who and what God we are serving. 8. The Greek Islands Are Amazing
July 06, 2010
Thousands of inlets and islands make up the archipelago known as the Greek Islands, whose landscape varies from sandy beaches and azure waters to heavily forested mountains. Though only a fraction of the islands are populated, the region is rich in culture and history dating back thousands of years. Ancient structures and ruins depict a civilization steeped in mythology and later transformed to Christianity.
The island of Crete is a popular destination and guests often visit the Samaria National Park and the Samaria Gorge within. The gorge carved by a river winding through the White Moun... (read more)

10. The History of Lipstick?
February 02, 2010
I can hear it now – who cares about the history of lipstick? First, we are still in some pretty depressing and difficult economic times. Second, lipstick is a perfect way to perk up a gloomy day and add some cheap chic to our “wardrobe.” Finally, a brief look at the history of lipstick will hopefully entertain as well as take you away from your daily drudgery. Lipstick, believe it or not, has a rather formidable history. Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, Samaria, Babylonia – these are the times and I picture Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra – can you see her going without her lipstick? O... (read more)

11. Naturists and Naturalists - Vacations in Southern Crete
April 20, 2008
Crete, the largest of the Greek Islands, is sometimes described as a mass tourist resort. It is true that there are several north coast resorts on Crete that can be found in the brochures of practically every package tour company. But Crete is a very big island with many unspoilt holiday resorts for tourists who prefer a quieter vacation, enjoying beautiful scenery and glimpses of traditional Cretan culture. Both of Crete's international airports are situated on the north coast and two high mountain ranges running east-west, form a natural barrier to mass tourism reaching the south coast. In ... 12. Strangers in our own Land?
August 17, 2006
A revealing email from Israeli Yehoshua Friedman. Rabbi Friedman and his wife Janet are among the original founders of Kochav HaShachar, a Jewish Pioneering Community in the Israelite Tribal Territory of Eretz Binyamin (Land of Benjamin), located in what is today known as the Shomron (Samaria).
22 Av, 5766 (August 17, 2005)
David,
I just thought of you being banned from Israel in juxtaposition with my son-in-law, Yehoyariv Maguri, who built a house for himself, his wife (my daughter) Esther and baby son Avraham on the hilltop of Givat Ronen near Har Bracha in the Shomron. ... (read more)

13. Daily Surrender Psalms 119:131
April 23, 2006
April 23, 2006
Psa 119:131 I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.
If you have never felt the pangs of intense thirst, I don’t know if you can realize the intensity of “panting”. Panting is a term generally used for animals such as a hart, or even a dog.
From the very beginning, man was to subdue and have dominion over the animals of the earth (Gen 1:28). Just as the animals are dominated by man and are dependant on his mercy and care, so we are dominated by God and are dependant on His mercy and care. Compared to God’s omnipotence, omniscience, a...
