1. Is Zionism of God?
September 10, 2009
Is Zionism of God?
by Bob & Suzanne Hamrick 22praiseYHVH@bellsouth.net
Zionists base their claims to the land of Palestine on certain specific prophecies in the Hebrew Tanakh (the Christian “Old Testament”). If Zionism is of the God of the Bible, then everyone in the world who believes in this God should be supporting the Zionists in their attempts to “secure” a homeland for the Jews. But if Zionism can be proven from the Hebrew Bible itself to not be of the God of the Bible (despite the Zionists’ claim that it is), then every non-Zionist on earth, and especially Christians, shoul... 2. Rabbinical Judaism - Scriptural or Not?
August 06, 2009
Definition of Rabbinical Judaism – This term refers to Judaism as controlled by the Rabbis after the destruction of the Temple in 70A.D. The Rabbis incorporate the Talmud into Judaism as canon. This is of course error. All that is built on this error is also by definition error. A bad tree does not produce any good fruit.
Matthew 7:17 - Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Matthew 7:18 - A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Matthew 7:19 - Every tree th... (read more)

4. The Meaning of Pink Roses: Love and Gratitude
October 15, 2008
Pink roses are one of the oldest roses known to us and have a rich history that dates back to some of the earliest pieces of visual art. In the Talmud, it is written that pink roses are the only flowers allowed to bloom in Jerusalem; thus, they came to be associated with paradise. Pink roses were the dominant species of wild roses and were the first flowers to evolve into their present-day form. When roses were first cultivated in the 18th century for commercial use, most of them existed in shades of pink – from a pale, almost white to a deep crimson.
With the development of hybridiza... (read more)

5. Requirements for Kosher Meat
September 08, 2008
Meat tagged as kosher has changed from a conventional style of viewpoint. The word “kosher” is originated from the Hebrew phrase meaning fit, properly prepared or clean. Kosher standpoint primarily has it sources in the dietary code of Jewish laws revealed in the books of Holy Scriptures. Later, the same knowledge was documented in the Talmud, a set of ancient writings, which served as the basis of spiritual authority for customary Judaism. Next, abiding by the rules portrayed in the Talmud, one can ensure that the kosher meat is religiously clean and suitable for eating. In addition, th... (read more)

6. Kabbalah Is Easy - Here's Why
April 28, 2008
Many people think about Kabbalah as a very difficult, complicated wisdom whose subject matter is mysterious and indefinable. Open up the main Kabbalist textbook, the Talmud Eser HaSefirot, and you will be confronted with lengthy descriptions of mysterious spiritual essences such as Sefirot, Partzufim, and worlds. Or take a look at Kabbalah's fundamental text—The Book of Zohar, and you will find beautiful, albeit incomprehensible verses, such as "The rose among the thorns," or "That hall has many hidden treasures one upon the other. In that hall there are 50 closed gates that are meant to block... (read more)

7. History of Kabbalah: Baal HaSulam - Kabbalah for Our Times
March 05, 2008
Baal HaSulam, Rabbi Yehuda Ashlag, was the greatest Kabbalist of our generation who wrote books intended specifically for our times. This means that for the first time in history, he presented Kabbalah in a way that allows any person to reveal the spiritual, Upper World. To fully appreciate the significance of his life’s work, we only need to remember that reading Kabbalistic texts composed prior to Baal HaSulam – whether the Torah, The Book of Zohar, and others – is practically ineffective for a beginning student. This is because they are mostly written in a way that only other Kabbalist... (read more)

9. Dream Interpretation and Ways to Make the Most Out of Your Dreams
July 04, 2007
A dream that is not interpreted is like a letter that has not been opened. —from The Talmud. We are living in a dream-deficient society, to borrow a term from Nancy Grace, a teacher of the dream phenomenon since 1989. Ours is a society that talks about dreams only when they are interesting, that is when they are nightmares or movie-ish. Otherwise, we have become content with just waking up for the day, easing back into our routine work life, and not minding interpreting our dreams and what they are trying to tell us, just letting them accumulate-- a treasure box of letters forever unopen... 10. Introduction To Jewish Mysticism And Kabbalah
May 17, 2007
When non-Jews ask about Judaism, they commonly ask questions like: What is the nature of God? Do you believe in heaven and hell? What happens to us after death? The answers to questions like these characterize most religions. While Jewish law (Talmud) focuses on what it is God wants from man, the area of Judaism and Jewish thought that discusses these issues falls under the realm of Jewish mysticism and the Kabbalah. Kabbalah is the name applied to the whole range of Jewish mystical activity. The word Kabbalah comes from the Hebrew root Qof-Beit-Lamed, which means "to receive, to a... (read more)

11. Kabbalah Before Age 40
July 04, 2005
We are often asked how it is permitted to teach Kabbala to young and not strongly educated Jews, who are not even close to being "40 years of age and expert in Talmud and Jewish law." Did not "the Rabbis" forbid it when the student lacks the above-cited qualifications?
Let us be clear. First of all, intoductory lessons are not within the purview of the prohibition that the Rabbis referred to. Let us examine the best known exposition of it is the ruling of Rambam [Maimonides]:
"I say that it is not proper to dally in Pardes ("orchard", i. e., mysticism) till one's belly is filled with... (read more)
