Filming began on January 18, 2003 and finished on February 14, 2003. In 2004, this installment of the race won the series its second consecutive Primetime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Reality-Competition Program." Starting Sunday, September 9, 2007, GSN began airing re-runs of The Amazing Race 4 at its original timeslot of 300 a.m. The following teams participated in the Race, with their relationships at the time of filming.
