If you think you can’t write a book, you’re right! If you think you can write a book, you’re right, too! As a sage once said, "The people who say I can and I can't are both right." Writing a great book is entirely up to you! If you think you can’t, you won’t; if you think you can, you will. I know it’s “corny’, but it’s true. Both statements are absolutely on the mark. So, the first thing you must do is reframe your brain and tell yourself you can write. You DO have a book in you…probably a many more books than just one, once you get yourself started. Everybody has a book in their head or can get one planted there! I really don’t care if you THINK you can’t write a book…I KNOW that you can! You’ve talked yourself into the “fact” that you couldn’t write a book. YOU’VE done that, told yourself you cannot write…now, let’s undo it! If someone held a gun to your head and told you to write a book, I bet you would. Have you ever told another person… anybody!…a story or an idea and they got it? They understood what you were meaning to say and were affected, intrigued, enlightened by what you said?…Maybe they laughed, maybe they cried, maybe they agreed with you…maybe not! The important thing here is that they understood and caught on to what you told them. When it comes to writing your eBook, electronic book, remember to write about what you feel passionate about. If you love a subject or topic you have probably already thought a lot about it and maybe even journaled or emailed about it. So gather your thoughts and tidbits of writing and start to put it together into an organized whole. What I’m trying to tell YOU here is that you’re already writing a book. In a sense, every time you think of something, tell it to yourself in your mind and perhaps even tell someone else who is nearby, And since you are reading this online, have you ever thought about writing a book for online publication? This is actually a lot easier than putting your book down on hard copy and running it off and handing it out. Realize this: You’re already writing book chapters almost every day! Every time you get an idea from your head into someone else’s head, you’ve just finished a sentence…a paragraph…a page of your latest book! First tell yourself you can write. (success begins in your mind) Second get out your pc of Mac and start putting down your thoughts in your favorite word processing program. (pretend you are writing an email or a letter to a close friend) Third check out some helpful online tools to assist you in the electronic eBook writing process. (Anything can be built easily with the right tools in your hand. There are tons of great writing and publishing tools online) When you think about writing like this, then you know for sure you CAN write a book! Set a goal of writing at least one page or one chapterr everday. Before you know it your book will be done. Don't worry right now about orgainizing your book. First get it down; this is the key. See, I knew you could do it. Begin today!
