I’ve written numerous articles on how to generate income by writing articles. To maximize the amount of money you can make, you need to develop and market your own product. The easiest product for an article writer to design is an ebook. For many people, writing their own ebook along with all the details it involves can be a large intimidating project. First of all, you’ve got to write it. To do it well, you’ve got to promote it with emails and articles. If you are going to promote it using email, you need a sign-in (squeeze) page. And on and on. Uhhh! Don’t despair; things are not quite as bad as you think. Take a step back and break the project up into small, bite-sized bits. Write down each item separately. Then take each small segment and focus on that until you complete it. The steps to complete your project might be as follows: 1) Write your ebook. 2) Marketing – Develop a five step email course. 3) Create a Squeeze page. 4) Create a sales/order page. 5) Write and submit articles linking to your squeeze page and email course. Okay, we’ve completed our list. Let’s start from the beginning with the ebook. 1) This item sounds like the largest and most intimidating part of the project. If you can get through this, the rest will seem easy. The average ebook contains twenty-five to fifty double-spaced pages of information. This represents twelve to twenty-five single spaced pages. If you write articles consistently, you have probably noticed that your articles each run about one full page. Therefore, your ebook will be the equivalent of writing twelve to twenty-five individual articles. Now it doesn’t seem so intimidating. Outline your ebook into twelve to twenty-five separate chapters. This will also be you table of contents. Each day write one or two chapters/articles until you’ve completed it. That turned out to be pretty easy. 2) Write five separate emails each providing several facts that are related to your ebook. At the conclusion of each email, include a link to your order page. Upload these five emails to your autoresponder so that they are sent out when people sign in on your squeeze page. 3) Create a squeeze page. If you’ve been writing articles (or reading my work) for a while, you’ve probably already got a squeeze page. In that case, copy the one you have and devote the new one exclusively to the email series you set up. If you don’t have a squeeze page, there are thousands of articles written on the subject. You can also check with your autoresponder, they will usually provide you with information in this area. Make sure you create persuasive copy that compels your visitor to sign up for your five-step email course that is linked to your autoresponder. 4) Create a sales/order page. Create a page that introduces and recommends your ebook. Make sure it contains plenty of benefits as well as features. People are interested in features but they buy benefits. Make sure you include a PayPal button or some other shopping cart link to order the book. 5) Begin writing and submitting articles related to the information provided in your ebook. Make sure you provide links to you squeeze page (and occasionally directly to your sales page). Submit one of these articles to forty or fifty everyday or every other day. Do not submit all of your articles at once. You’ve done it! You completed your ebook project and you are on your way to the big bucks. Use this method whenever you are confronted with large intimidating projects and your article income will grow by leaps and bounds.
