Hi my name is Joe Garcia I write for http://www.Lynked.info and http://www.bodybuiling.org I want to tell you about a friend of ours. All his life he had been overweight - the larger kid out the bunch - and that never really bothered him because his entire family was overweight as well, so he thought super-size meals and take-away was normal. He kept gaining weight year after year. He remembers being in 9th grade and thinking that socializing was such a nightmare that he retreated into online video games. One day he met a girl - something inside of his unconscious mind just clicked, why would anyone want you the way you are when you don't even like yourself. So he set out to change it. How ? He changed his diet. He removed all high GI food from his life style, white bread, potato, added sugar, and replaced them with lower GI whole grain foods. Next he added exercise to the plan. Combined with low impact exercise - if he needed to go anywhere - he walked... he walked to work, to the ship, etc. This ensured he would get a minimum of 2 hours of light cardio a day. The walking turned into jogging, which turned into running - the weight dropped off "very" quickly. Amazingly s he managed to get down from a XXXXXXXL (7XL shirt) to a small. How amazing is that? As time past he still was not totally happy with his body. He wanted muscle mass and strength (most importantly strength) so he decided to pick up a barbell and do it. He noticed improvement in strength. When he started lifting weights he was unable to bench press the bar, which weighs only 45 lbs. Now he is able to bench press 176 lbs and do squat 253 lbs. His cardio has also improved. He was unable to score a 3 on the beep test (he recalls this fact from a very embarrassing 10th grade PE class), now he can easily get a 9. If you have been involved in team sports then you are probably familiar with 'shuttle runs' as part of your training program. The beep test is used by Physical Training Instructors to assess fitness of soldiers. He has been working out regularly and taking supplement. You would flip out when you see the before and after pictures. I wasn’t easy or a cakewalk (in my words) but he did it And so can you. For more info and pictures http://www.bodybuiling.org>click here
