How Teens Can Make Money

Here is an idea that you and your teen may not have thought about; and might not know it even possible: Selling Your Social Network Profile. Now this might sound really wild or crazy… or just plain off-the-wall; yet this is something that is catching on like wildfire. You might be jumping up and down at this idea; however, you need to remember to delete all of your personal information from your profile and also take out all of the information about your friends and followers that you are close to. The reason that people are out there buying Twitter and MySpace profiles is because they want to use that page and the information on it to sell the things that they want to sell.

Hey, are you good –or even great – when it comes to artwork and crafts projects; good enough to sell your work? If this is something that you have thought about doing but never really took the initiative or took the chance by putting some of your work out there for all to see. You might want to try going to your local flea market or even craft shows. You might also want to try going to your local craft store and asking if you can sell your craft there on consignment or from a small area of space in the store that is given to you to use (or that you pay a bit to the store owner to use). This is nothing that you need to be frightened of; yet many teens think that no one will buy their crafts or their artwork.

There is something else that you teens can do to earn a bit of extra money: collecting can and bottles and other recyclable materials to sell or turn in to a larger recycler for a profit. This is not something that is that difficult to do; yet you will need to find out from your local recycler/recycling center if they would pay you for bringing in these items in to them. If you are looking to recycle glass jars, soda and beer bottles you might be able to take them to store that sell beer, liquor and soda in bottles and get a bit of money for them. The reason for this is that soda can and glass bottles have a recycling refund on them.
