You’ve faced probably the biggest scare of your life. You’ve done what has to be done, you’ve had one or both of your teats removed. You want ensure that you have someone who is certified rebuild your chest. When doing a breast reconstruction the physician will use your own skin and muscles to build you a new bosom. You will donate tissue from either you back or your abdomen and this will help to create a base for the surgeon to add an implant. This implant will help give you a more natural look to your created chest. If you have only had a single mastectomy then your doctor can use the remaining one to gauge what size implant to use so that you will look more natural. The nipple and areola are constructed to give you a more normal appearance. Breast reconstruction surgery can give you your life back. You’ve already been through a trying time there is no reason to continue fighting with the emotional pain. For many women losing their chest to cancer is bad enough but having the constant reminder that they are gone can be almost as painful for them.
