While RRMA was based on Christian Louboutin Boots size, under the new RA system towns are rated according to their road distance from five different-sized towns (ranging from major cities to towns of between 1000 and 4999 people). Some towns are now classified as less rural than they were under the RRMA system and some are no longer considered rural at all. While GP leaders acknowledge the RRMA system was long overdue for a review, they believe the new system has simply delivered a new set of problems for general practice. In practice this means many small towns of 4000-5000 people will be in the same category as towns with much larger populations. Dr Mason Stevenson, president of the AMA Queensland, says Bowen, with a population of 9500, now has the same classification as Townsville with about 180,000 inhabitants.
