This morning I woke up with a big smile on my face. I was happy and I had many ideas in my head about my house. During our morning coffee, my husband and I talked about renovating our bathroom. Our house was very old when we moved to live there and ever since, we were renovating it room by room. The bathroom was somehow always left for last. Now was the time to refurbish it. I was so happy that I couldn’t stop talking about it – I had so many ideas in my head. Luckily, the bathroom in our house is huge. It is very spacious and gives me the opportunity to make it gorgeous. We hired a plumber straight away to make sure all our connections are placed properly and if anything needed repairing to be repaired. After that, we drew a plan of the bathroom. We have decided what we wanted and went to get the measurements of the units we were about to place. This is very important thing to do before putting the tiles down, as everything needs to be placed accurately. The plumber amazed us with his way of making sure that everything will fit. He cut samples of the units from cardboard with the exact measurements and placed them all in the bathroom thus making sure where everything will be and that the connections are all there fitted. Just like every woman, I wanted everything in the bathroom. Of course, not everything could fit though it is a huge space. So when I had to choose what to be left I insisted on the bath. I love baths, as they are the best relaxing thing on earth. After a long day, there is nothing better than a bath. My husband agreed with me and it was all sorted. We purchased a bath, shower cubical, washbasin, toilet and of course some units for storage. To make my bathroom cozy I bought dark tiles. After the plumbing was done, the person to do the tiles arrived. I must say he did a brilliant job. He glued the tiles on the floor and on the walls as well and fitted all the bathroom furniture. I didn’t even have to clean after him as he let the place spotless. I would recommend him to anybody. So to sum up I must say that the bathroom renovation didn’t cost that much having in mind how many things I have purchased and I had two masters working. When it was all done I did the finishing touches like candles here and there, flowers and aroma sticks. You can imagine how pleasurable my first bath was. I would advise anybody to do such a renovation. It feels great seeing what you have achieved. Danish word for kitchen is køkken.
