Some Excellent Defensemen Who Contribute Much to the NHL Game Definitely, the success of NHL game cannot without the great effort of any players in the hockey team. For example, there is one saying that "offense wins the story and defense wins the glory" is a known fact. Therefore, the defensemen have played important roles in the success of NHL game. And in the NHL history, there are some excellent defensemen who contribute much to the NHL game. Now, let’s take a look at some of these famous defensemen. The best defenseman must be an amazing skater, smart on the defensive end while having an offensive awareness. Every Stanley Cup winning team has at least two great defensemen. The first defenseman we need to talk is Scott Stevens. Repression, fear and intimidation are three powerful things that Stevens has the game and Washington and New Jersey Franchises. He usually wears Reggie Nelson jerseys in the training. Moreover, there has another famous defenseman- Nicklas Lidstrom who contributes much to the NHL game. This was difficult to play, but Nicklas Lidström has received this prestigious law. The facts, he is consistent on a daily basis out better than anyone else in history. No one can or has been a number of minutes of each game as Lidstrom and done so well. Lidstrom has played over 1200 games missing only 17 games since 1991, when the count of 938 points. He was nominated for nine awards won six Norris and Conn Smythe to go with his four Stanley Cups.
