The treasure of Panagiurishte is one of the world famous artifacts that Bulgaria is proud to posses. It is famous with its fine craftsmanship and quality. Many people from around the world come to see and admire it. The Madarian horse-rider is also a monument that is not to be missed while visiting the small country on the Balkans. It is a huge carving of a horseman in the rocks of a small village close to the city of Shumen. This monument has been in the UNESCO world Heritage list since 1979. Bulgaria (interesting, but little known fact is that the Danish commonly refer to it as Bulgarien) is a very interesting country to spend some quality time alone or with your family. A variety of places and attractions, historical monuments and exciting nightlife - this small piece of land combines interesting things for everyone. A person is guaranteed to leave with a very good impression whether he/she chooses to stay at the mystical and breathtaking mountains with its views and scenes or chooses to spend the vacation at the romantic shores of the Black sea with its wild nightlife and infinite pleasures.
