The A6 has received a nose job in line with other Audi models but, despite that, the car does not differ greatly in design compared to previous generations. The car is a global bestseller and the company has chosen not to take too many risks with the style. The Audi A6 Navigation is a good plug-in for your A6 and it continues a legacy of dynamic excellence and exceptional comfort, with impressive attention to detail both inside and out. The A6 is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sedan or wagon (Avant), packed with technology that enhances convenience and driving dynamics. Every model of the 2008 Audi A6 comes equipped with several, standard safety features, including stability control, an antilock disc brake system, and front-seat side airbags, along with full-length head curtain airbags. The Audi have added two new engines in the Audi A6 range, the 3.0-litre V6 TFSI petrol and an ultra-efficient 134bhp 2.0-litre named the TDIe which is expected to become UK's most popular diesel engine choice. There are few engine choices available. Transmissions are available in a combination of six-speed manual, six-speed Tiptronic and seven-speed Multitronic gearboxes. Airbags for the rear seats of the Audi A6 are an optional choice. Even though most A6 owners love their vehicles, they are not the most reliable car to have. My suggestion if you’re going to buy one is to try and find a previous owner who looked after it well. Most prominent is the MMI (Multi Media Interface) which is an arrangement calculating in-car entertainment, satellite routing, and climate management, automobile settings like suspension arrangement and optional electronic accessories using a central display interface. This has the benefit of diminishing the amount of buttons usually found on a control panel by substituting them with controls which manage many devices using the incorporated screen.
