Dermatitis is a disease which may happen to anyone with no particular reason. There is no one on earth who has not fallen ill to some or other kind of allergy relating to skin be it for a rash. A variety of skin related problems can be well summed as dermatitis which in one way or another is similar at base level. Skin disease can occur in many different forms and may strike in different parts of the body with some particular and some non-particular reason. The most common of the dermatitis which people may be contacted with may include warts, eczema and contact dermatitis. Inflation is the most visible and the most prominent feature of dermatitis as the affected area turns red, swollen and itchiness persists. Dermatitis is not a terminal disease nor it incapacitates the person just that person who suffers feels distress in social and work situations. There are various reasons which may cause dermatitis which may include a number of health conditions, genetic factors, allergies and irritants which may be responsible for eliciting the skin reaction. Some of the probable products which may cause skin infection may include skin soaps, detergents, laundry soaps, bleach, cosmetics, fragrances, perfumes, weeds, rubber, metal and such other articles. Contact dermatitis is the most common type of dermatitis which is caused by an allergy or irritating substance like the ones mentioned above, Generally people with sensitive skin fall in for contact dermatitis. The types may include atopic dermatitis which is commonly known as eczema and is a chronic skin disease which may appear in early childhood. The main cause of this type is still unknown but it may result from acombination of genetic and environmental factors. Eczema is typically treated with lotions containing hydrocortisone that are applied to the skin. Another type is the Seborrheic dermatitis which has most prominent feature is the red rash combined with yellowish, oily-looking scales on the scalp, where as in perioral dermatitis the inflation occurs around the mouth and nose. Despite the varied types of dermatitis’s their treatment is unique based on the usage of lotions, medicines and motivational treatment.
