Cubensis is commonly known as Magic mushrooms or magic shrooms. It is usually formed from fungi and is found to contain psychoactive substances. These substances tend to include the composition of psilocybin and psilocinis. The effects of this are comparable to that of the LSD. These mushrooms have been used for rituals during ancient times. Shrooms often tend to have certain spiritual effect on an individual when it is being used. Those researching on mushroom found that the volunteers experienced complete mystical experience after using it. Most of the volunteers have encountered a feeling of mysticism which was spiritually significant for their lives. Yet the use of these shrooms seemed to induce certain side effects. The scientists have concluded saying that these active ingredients can be used for the treatment of depression, anxiety and other disorders. Though this plant is found to contain psychedelic properties but they are not addictive by nature.
