If you need to relieve lower back pain you can try stretches for lower back pain relief. People that suffer from lower back pain are all around the world. Try these few steps to help relive back pain, sore muscles and strain to your lower back. If you suffer from a lower back strain you should rest but try not to lay down for long periods of time. You can make the pain worse by laying down to much. You should lay on your back with your knees propped up by a couple pillows. You should not lay on your stomach for long periods of time. If you lay down for more then three days you could weakling the back muscles and cause more strain on your lower back. When you get up from a prone position make sure to get up slowly and use your legs not your back to stand up. Lower back pain relief You can apply ice to the back pain with in 24 hours to help reduce inflammation twenty minutes on and thirty minutes off. In 24 hours you can try a hot bath and let your lower back muscles relax in the warm water. This should help increase the elasticity of the back muscles. Another thing that might be causing your back pain is stress. You should learn to relax and learn some relaxation techniques like meditation and deep breathing exercises. You should check your mattress this could contribute to your pain. If the mattress is to soft it can cause lower back pain. You need to look at buying a firm mattress or you can put some plywood under your mattress between it and the box springs.
