In order to promote further development of biofuels in the the United States, the United States is preparing to play both investors and customers. The U.S. government recently announced a $ 510 million worth of investment plans to accelerate bio-fuels in the military and other areas of use. It is reported that the money will come from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Department of Energy and the Navy. In addition, in the next three years, the U.S. biofuel producers will be at least equal investment funds to promote large-scale commercial biofuel plant construction. This program also in response to U.S. President Barack Obama proposed in March this year to reduce U.S. foreign oil demand this call. Obama said: "Biofuels is an important measure to reduce dependence on foreign oil and create jobs in the United States, but to support the development of bio-fuels can not just rely on one sector. The United States three department officials said, they hope the money to create more job in the nation's agricultural sector, both for farmers and ranchers to provide additional source of income. U.S. officials expressed hope to further improve the solution,that is the aircraft, engine, fuel and equipment as well as all the facilities not required to make large changes can be used this fuel, which means infrastructure investment of the airline to switch to new fuel almost zero. There are already many companies engaged in the development of fossil fuel alternatives, Such as Gevo, KiOR and Solazyme. The U.S. Navy is testing biofuels come from Solazyme and other companies. Earlier, the U.S. Navy and the Ministry of Agriculture has launched an inter-departmental cooperation plan for biofuels.
