Recent polls have decided who the front runners are in the GOP race for the White House but the same polls sadly report that whoever wins the party nomination still may not be able to defeat Barack Obama. In an article I wrote entitled - The 2012 Elections and the 'Twenty Million Factor' I briefly covered the fact that while American conservatives and the GOP are hotly debating who will grab the brass ring, we are overlooking the fact that a generation of secularized, discontented and Obama mesmerized sycophants’ must be overcome, to defeat both the incumbent and the social ideology he has introduced into our nation. Not a thousand more debates can possibly produce enough traction to accomplish this, but only a combination of prayer, unity and a willingness to return to law and Constitution. How are we doing with that? I have been grateful for the few websites like Renew America and Canada Free Press and a list of about twenty other solid and brave sites that have hosted my work. But I am not naïve because I know that like anyone who is embroiled in the task of conveying truth and lasting values the field is lonely and the fighting is uphill all the way. I take courage from the fact that only one man, Jesus Christ, brought in salvation for anyone who wanted it and after him only twelve men spread his gospel to every quarter of the world. Now this invisible kingdom which will shortly become the only visible kingdom on earth has swelled to billions. As a young man I went to sea on large vessels and it was during that time that I saw the powers of the ocean and it drew me even closer to God. The vastness of the sea has a profoundly humbling effect on a man. You cannot peer over the vast expanse of the ocean; see its irresistible anger or its rare beauty and sights without believing in God, and thanking him for his creation. One day while cruising up the Atlantic seaboard on a tanker I got the notion to pop a friendly message in a syrup bottle and chuck it over the side and see what might come of it. I wrote a ‘to whom it may concern’ introduction and proceeded to explain both who I was and why I put the bottle in the ocean. I dropped the bottle into the Atlantic about 300 miles of the coast of North Carolina as we were heading north to New York. Almost a year later I received a letter from a little girl who wrote me under the guidance and urging of her father. He was walking along the Galveston River (Bay) in Texas when his little girl spotted and retrieved the bottle and excitedly gave it to her father. The bottle had travelled down the Atlantic, across the entire Gulf of Mexico and up the Galveston River to bring a sense of wonder and excitement to one little Texas girl. Several million Americans have read my articles now and my humble website has had about a quarter million readers by itself and yet I know that I am still not far from throwing a message in a bottle into the ocean. We are a nation of 300 million and unfortunately after a generation of godless education, Hollywood poisoning and political liberalism we are on the cusp of our own permanent demise. Is there hope? If I were forced to admit that between prophecy and our own blindness that little hope existed, I would be both right and wrong at the same time. Since history can be altered by either destruction or renewal, a nation’s fate is not sealed until the last cow comes home. We are in that hazy area known as the calm before the storm, but there is still time. Should we collectively decide to stay on the present course, our end is assured, but even if that is what transpires there remains, one hope. That one hope is for one person at a time and it is much like finding a message in a bottle. It is for an individual not a nation and when found, can create an entirely new course. The message is salvation, forgiveness and the start of a new life. If you are reading this article you have found your message in a bottle here is what to do next. Simply ask one question and be willing to receive and act on the answer, as many other people have for twenty centuries now. About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose. The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. But Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!” The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” (Acts 16: 25-31) If you are ready to deal with this question here is some very important information to help you in your quest.
