This should be your first stop every time you produce another video. Our HD Showcases may be embedded inside a simple email and sent out to all of your current companies potential customers. Instantly you can expose your property video to hundreds if not thousands of potential sight. two. Facebook Every agency should have a Facebook page and profile. A free service like Facebook where a lot of potential customers interact can be a gold mine for substances. Our HD Showcases are fully functional inside Facebook and can be played entirely on your friend's home web site. Exactly why do I need a web site? I want a website for people Connecticut, Massachusetts or New York people who are browsing the internet, who think they want Vermont real estate, but I want them to find ME (along with the Woodstock VT real estate they are after). We take the measurement in the camera to the furthest corner we'd like in focus, and divide this length by 3 to provide us the hyperfocal travel time (HFD). We now set the camera's focal length to the lens not to infinity but on the HFD measurement (feet or metres). In this way, both the first 1/3 before the focal point and the 2/3 beyond it will all be in focus - i. e the complete room. The size of the aperture (f/stop) also is necessary here, but for the sake of simplicity even though a first step the 1/3 rule works well. When you reach the stage which you want to be more appropriate and incorporate the f/stop reading then you need to refer to a hyperfocal travel time charts, which works out your HFD based on your focal distance together with f-stop - there's also an awesome free iPhone App that works the distance out for you. Sharpening Man made sharpening of the focussing can also be done in 2 ways and there's two distinct schools of thought on how to do it. (1) In-camera sharpening - this is a setting in the Canon 7D in the picture profile setting. You have the option to either reduce or increase the sharpness level. Many people turn the sharpening down to 0 because they believe it raises the 'moire' effect, unwanted fuzzyiness on slender horizontal and vertical traces - eg it can often be seen on the thin distinctive line of roof tiles. (2) Post-production - there's several sharpening tools that claim to sharpen up ones DSLR. X is a superb tool for both sharpening together with reducing the noise in footage. Only issue with is a long render times. Another quicker solution if you're a Final Cut Pro User is to apply the preset sharpen product that does a decent job without the need to render. Artificial sharpening is just that, an artificial way to manipulate the original video footage. If its over-used it can look crude and abnormal, its their to make good footage look great not to rectify poorly shot footage. After first reading this explanation it may look a daunting task to achieve perfect focus on your DSLR for property videos, but this is the science behind the creativity and with a little practice changing the settings will become natural and intuitive and unfortunately your videos will have a Hollywood turn to them.
