Scentsy is a wickless candle company that offers 80 memorable scents, distinctive and decorative warmers, and fine fragrance products. The beautiful and unique warmers house a low-wattage light bulb that slowly melts the wax cubes and fills the air with fragrance. Because the wax is warmed and not burned, it can hold up to three times the fragrance oil of a traditional candle. Scentsy wickless candles are also more economical than a traditional candle. Each bar cost $5, with package pricing available for more savings. For example, each Scentsy bar has 8 cubes that you break apart and place one or two into the top of the warmer and each bar will last approximately 60-80 hrs of burn time, that’s about 10 hours for each individual cube. For the same 60-80 hours of burn time of a traditional fragrant candle your cost is approximately $16. That’s a savings of $11 and you can leave your Scentsy warmer on without the risk of fire. Scentsy bars come in 80 different and unique scents, ranging from a more traditional scent like Vanilla or Baked Apple Pie to Scentsy Man with scents similar to a man’s cologne and then to the Exotic scents of the Seven Seas such as Amalfi Coast. Each Scentsy fragrance consists of three levels; top notes, mid notes and base notes. When combined they become a scent pyramid with a compilation of ingredients specific to that scent. Top notes are the fragrances that tend to be light and fresh and include Citrus, Green and Ozonic. Mid notes are heavier and can be fruity, sweet, floral or spicy and include Floral, Fruit and Spice. Base notes tend to be heavy and long lasting and can be powdery, woody or fruity and include Gourmand, Musk and Woody. With the seven different Scentsy categories you are sure to find a scent that reminds you of grandma’s house, your favorite childhood memory, a smell of a lost love or a scent to call all your own. The seven categories include: Favorites, Spring/Summer or Fall/Winter (depending of the time of the year), Corner Cafe, Scentsy Man, Romance, Spa and Seven Seas.
