In fact, the FDA synthesized THC, which is one of the main ingredients in marijuana, while stating THC has no medicinal value. The government constantly contradicts their position on marijuana, which is another topic and the main reason why so many people start asking questions about it being illegal. The main reason often given is because of the tendency for certain people to become a cannabis addict.
