Ezine Articles .com used to be the major player in article marketing and gaining Backlinks or traffic to your site or blog. But lately they have lost massive amounts of traffic due to the latest Google farmer update which rates sites very strictly indeed on original and unique site content. Ezine articles go to great lengths to state that authors are only allowed to submit articles that are original and unqque, this means that they do not accept rewritten articles or PLR articles. The articles you submit must in another words be written by yourself which in my opinion is the way it should be. But wait! Ezine have become very inconsistent in the way they treat their member just go look at the article library and see how many articles there is in Finance for example there is thousands, Most of them are rewritten spammy copies of each other, people using content from Ezine Articles are also renowned for not citing the original author and plagiarizing other peoples content when authors complain to Ezine their complaints fall on deaf ears. The other major disadvantage of this is when someone does not give the original author credit they remove your author resource box thus removing the link back to your site or blog and if there are no links in the body of your article there is no way for people to find your site or blog, also you will find that Ezine allow some people to put links in the body of their article and others are not. So if you wish, Just try and put a link in lower part of your article body you never know they my allow it, This is just another area where they can be very inconsistent Article approval has always been a major issue at Ezine authors. For example getting rejected for a spelling mistake that is not stored in the Ezine spell checker, An email to Ezine support took 4 days for a reply and simply stated “Our staff are aware of this issue and your article will be approved please submit your article”. When the article was submitted it took 9 days to be reviewed and was rejected for the same error that had been complained about. Ezine articles are extremely strict and state that all article submissions must be unique and original content as we have been told hundreds of times. Then why are their authors on Ezine that have 10,000 article submission’s and more we cannot honestly be expected to believe that all these articles are unique and original content, Mr. Lance Winslow an Ezine author has no less than 24,000 article submission Wow, Okay let’s say 10 articles a week for 1 year = 520 articles. So on that assumption 24,000 articles would take 46 years you see what I mean, unique and original content “I don’t think so”. But I should also say that Mr. Winslow is not the only person doing this there are literally hundreds of authors on Ezine doing this, that’s why they have been penalized so heavily by the Google’s farmer update as Google now sees them as nothing more than a massive content farm. Which is exactly what they have become? Ezine articles Gone the way of the Dodo Chris Knight must panicking at this point he beloved site has lost 75% of its traffic and his site has upset thousands of members for it’s extremely draconian rules and regulations it wouldn’t be so bad if they were more consistent in the application of their rules and regulations.Mr Knight seems to have lost his vision for his site he needs to pay more attention to his authors and be more consistent in his application of Ezine Articles rules and regulations.
