Anxiety is a way of reaction of anyone who feels threatened. When we are in a potentially dangerous situation or anticipate such a situation, we feel afraid first. Like pain, anxiety can be a warning signal that the body is overloaded. Anxiety has negative effects on the body: headache, heart disease, gastric ulcer, decreased appetite, abdominal discomfort. Therefore, we have to understand the difference between fear, which is absolutely normal, and anxiety. Everyone has had the experience of intense fear, which is a normal human emotion that helps us in facing danger. Fear is a specific reaction of all living beings. But some people live a very intense and irrational fear that is not justified by the presence of a dangerous situation.
