If you are going to be using your photos for canvas printing and you really want the best possible quality canvas print form your photos then I have a few tips for you that would be of great use. The first tip would be to check your image quality before sending it to a canvas printer for printing with. One way of checking this would be to right click on your image which you have on your computer then scroll down the properties and click to open the info on that particular image, it will then tell you that your image is either a number of kilobyte or it will be in megabit. The megabit would be the best type of image ion file size as the bigger the better really, don’t worry if you have a photo that is over 30mb as this is perfect for printing with as you will get perfect quality with this and this will also allow you to be able to have a very large canvas print made to without loosening any of the quality when canvas printing your image. If your image is a bit small which would be under 100kb then I would recommend either trying to find the original photo or indeed another photo. If you check this before giving your photo to the canvas printers before had then you will save yourself a little time in the fact that the printer will end up telling you it’s either too small or its perfect to print from. One other good tip is to make sure the digital camera used is over 1megapixle to. So once you have the photo side of this all sorted then you’re ready to start looking at what sort of canvas print you would like as in what size and what shape you would like. This would really depend on the wall space you’re looking to fill. I would recommend that if you are getting one canvas print to hang in a space then I would measure this space first before actually purchasing a canvas print so that it fits perfectly and you would also need to make sure you have at least a few centimetres either side of the canvas prints wall space for it to look like it belongs otherwise if it just with no room to breathe around it then it may look a little cluttered. The same goes with the idea of getting a triptych canvas print which is basically one image spread over a couple of canvas prints for a more cool and contemporary effect, you would need to get a tape measure out again and measure the gaps that you would need to allow between the canvas prints and try to get those gaps the same on each canvas print to get the maximum effect from it. Once your decided on your canvas print size then all there’s left to do is order your canvas print with a canvas printing specialist and your canvas print will arrive ready to hang and looking great.
